I've been doing genealogy on my family lineage for 40 years. It started out as a hobby and quickly became a passion. My goal is to locate my grandmother's brother, John Joshua Barron who disappeared in 1926. Hopefully one day I'll discover what happened to him. Surnames I'm researching are: Slay, Hatley, Barron, Nicklas, Casburn, Ratliff, Jones and Randolph.|
Please do not post death certificates on the memorials that I manage. I don't feel that it is in good taste and you will be asked to remove them. If you want to add an obituary please make sure that the names of the living are omitted for privacy reasons
If you want to request corrections or transfers please use the edit tab on the memorial associated with your request. Transfers can be made for mother, father, sisters and brothers.

Would you happen to know where I could find information about his parents?
|Glyn Slay||Slays of Mississippi info|
I have researching my lineage with the Slays of Copiah county MS. Sure need some help and guidance for verifications.

I am wondering if you are a direct descendant of Michael Sanders Coyle, my gg grandfather. In the information you posted, his place of burial is unknown. However, I recently discovered in Garland newspaper archives that he was brought back to Big A Cemetery after his death in Seymour, Baylor County, Texas. His date of death was 19May1932, and it was reported on 20May1932 that his body was being returned to Rowlett (Big A Cemetery) by the grieving family. This was reported by Irma Buhler in the Rowlett News section, page 2.
Can you either add this information to the page or transfer management to me? Findagrave # is 87194714.

His ashes are buried in Olla Cemetery next to his parents. The photo's were taken the same day!
|Sherlocks Cousin||RE: Luann Bates|
She was a sweet person but alcohol got the better of her. Raymond told us what happened that night.
|Sherlocks Cousin||Luann Bates|
Luann became a friend of ours via her marriage to Raymond, so I will maintain her memorial. You might want to consider making a Virtual Cemetery for your High School classmates, as I have done.
Thank you for your contributions to Findagrave.

Thank you so much for taking a photo of the tombstone of my gr-great grandfather. I don't know if I would ever get there to take it myself, so this is wonderful.
|Mary Elmore ||Mary Mitchell|
Thank you for the obituary.
She was a daughter of my great great grandmother, Mary Martin Elmore Lewis Scott. The DAR chapter in Huntsville, Texas, is named the Mary Martin Elmore Scott Chapter, after her.
The marker is a cemetery brick marker. It is very faint and hard to read. I can recommend a reputable monument company if you like to have a proper marker placed.

|Sue||Claudia Amy Hiatt Brown|
Question, was Claudia related to you? Since you asked for it to be transferred to you, I'm assuming, yes, she was. Claudia is my first cousin. I'm afraid I never knew her. I only knew her sister Grace Hiatt Dexter. Please feel free to email me or contact me on FaceBook. :)
