Bio and Links
Bio Photo Avid genealogist for over 40 years. I'm constantly researching Teague, Prater, Kidd, Stone,Porter, Perry, Faris, Lackey, Hall , Berry, Shell, & Collins lines in Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia on my side of the family. Researching Hutzler, Mangold, Krause, Zuercher, Bohl, Gross from Texas and Alsace Lorraine on my husband's side of the family.
I am Interested in antiques, organic gardening, birds, historical sites, family, grandkids, collecting "junk" and of course genealogy. I love to walk through the cemeteries and I take as many pictures of the graves as I can.
My latest "hobby" is to scour the antique stores and flea markets for photographs that have names, locations and dates on them. I purchase the photos, take them home for additional research and try to return them back to the rightful families. Hopefully I will post a picture that will help someone else. I am always willing to help with anyone's questions or requests, even if they are not the lines I am researching.
If you find a listing that I manage and it is your kin please feel free to ask me for it. I don't believe in hoarding names. I am here to document cemeteries and to help you research your families.

J. N. Fletcher in Giddings City Cemetery

Sorry, I think when I loaded the photo it deleted your request. You may wish to make another request in hopes we can eventually get the photo or dates.

J. N. Fletcher in Giddings City Cemetery

Hi Nancy,

You have a photo request for a J. N. Fletcher in Giddings TX city cemetery, #31493784. I don't live there, but took a day trip up to get as many photo requests as we could. The grounds keepers were very helpful and directed us to the local funeral home. They dug through records and gave us information on each of the requests. They told us that J. N. Fletcher is buried in the Fletcher family plot and he thought it had a marker. We found the family plot but could not find an individual marker for a J. N. or any other Fletcher that is not already photographed on find a grave.

I am adding a photo of the family plot, but leaving the request for now. Maybe someone else will be able to find it or I'm sure some day I will travel back to Giddings myself. I'm sorry we dont have more info for you at this point.

Thank you
Nancy, once again I thank you for the transfer. I hope to make the Jackson reunion again someday. Perhaps we'll see each other then.

William Siree Kidd
Hi Nancy,
I received an email stating that you have sponsored William Siree and Matilda Kidd's pages. Thank you so much for doing that. They are my Great Great Grandparents through John Benton.

Phinazee connection
Thanks for your message. John Phinazee, husband of Sarah, is my 4th Great Grandfather! We are related!
I have listed five children of John and Sarah in my Family tree. Entered long ago. Have a little, but not much info on this line.
My line then continues through John Harris Phinazee.
My tree isn't online. Got tired of doing all the research and then finding it in other trees with not attribution (but with the mistakes!). When I began 20 years ago no one was doing much with the Peurifoy line.
As for Greenwood Cemetery, my daughter and I were returning from a Cruise out of Tampa and came up I-75. Took awhile to find the cemetery, it was late afternoon and I lost the sun before I could take pictures of all the graves. That's why I had gaps in my family tree.
Now, if only I could find my G-grandmother's grave. She died in childbirth of a brother to my grandfather. Boys abandoned by father and raised by maternal grandparents. No one on my side of the family knew that our G-Grandfather moved from Georgia to Ft. Myers, FL where he was married twice and had children. Their descendants are now good friends

Peurifoy links
Thanks for the update, pictures, and links for my family members. I am a direct descendant of Caswell Peurifoy, the grandfather! Little by little the pieces fit together.
