Hello,
I would like to fulfill your request for pictures, but in dealing with Garden of Memories lately, they will only give out plot location to family members. Please contact them and then update the request and I will be happy to take care of fulfilling the request.

Amelia Evans Haile Taylor
Hi again,

I just solved it. That information is for the Haile's second daughter, Amelia Evans Haile Taylor.
You entered her with a picture
Find A Grave Memorial# 29045970
Her middle name however, is Evans, not Ellen.

Thanks for fixing this and also removing the other entry for Amelia Ellen Haile. The Hailes did have a daughter named Ellen but she is buried up in Camden SC.

Best,
Karen

Amelia Ellen Haile
Hi there,
Reference: Find A Grave Memorial# 29298744
I was curious about your source for the entry of Amelia Ellen Haile in the Kanapaha Cemetery in Gainesville Florida. I am one of the elders for cemetery management at Kanapaha Cemetery as well as the President & Historian of the Historic Haile Homestead. I am not aware of an Amelia Ellen Haile being buried in that cemetery. Thomas Haile's mother, Amelia Evans Haile is buried there but she died in 1880, not 1901.

So I am very interested in your source for this entry. This could be something completely new and exciting. Having documented all the graves in the cemetery though, there is no grave marker with that name on it - but we do have many unmarked graves.

Thank you in advance!

RE: Harold Black
It's been good working on this memorial with you, Ann. I'll keep you posted if I ever learn more about Grace. I sure would like to know her maiden name. It said she was a proprietor of a beauty shop in the 1940 US Census. It's hard to believe she just disappeared after Harold's death. I wonder if she moved or remarried.

RE: Harold Black
I attempted resending the edit and it wouldn't allow me. I got a message saying: There is already a submitted correction that will link this person as a spouse to memorial# 25686651. When we receive spouse information for a person, we automatically generate a link on their spouse's page, too, so there is no need to submit a relationship link for both spouses.
I was attempting to send an edit for his first spouse, Gertrude Hagan-Black #25686651. I'm not sure why you didn't get the first edit to begin with but I may have messed things up. They were married on 14 FEB 1915 in Putnam County, Florida.

RE: 177335930
Thank you so much, Ann. I've sent an edit and posted a document on Harold Lamar Black's memorial page. His first marriage was to my cousin, Gertrude Hagan. She died in 1923 and he remarried a lady named Grace, although I am unable to locate a last name for her. If I find any more information to include, I'll send them to you through the edit tab. Thank you for creating his memorial and for all you do on findagrave. Harold apparently was buried in the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Jacksonville. Hopefully once his memorial is placed in this cemetery, we can issue a photo request of his headstone.
