JUNE 3, 2016|
I have begun working on St. John's Cemetery again. There are many headstones that the earth has taken over and they take a lot of time to uncover. I have photographed most of the missing visible headstones.
I have added over 12,000 memorials, and am working on adding bios and linking families together. If you see "birth date is approximate", this means I calculated the date of birth on a 30 day calendar based on the information on the cemetery card or plat book.
I am happy to transfer the memorials that are not immediate members of my family tree (most added memorials are of no relation). I am also open to adding any information and making corrections since majority of my information comes from cemetery cards or headstones, which are not always accurate.
I have done family research for my father's side of the family since 2004.

I see you have William Henry Clampitt, Find A Grave Memorial# 142640053,information found in the 1850 US Census report having a mother named Eliza Margaret Cook. He is listed as the son with Eliza as the wife. This would make it seem that she was his mother. Ancestry.com shows, the father, William marriage to Catherine Hilleary in1836. Ancestry.com also shows William Marriage to Eliza in 1847. Going by this information, William's mother may not be Eliza as you have listed. I will not make the corrections as I only tell the person that there may be an error. Thank you, Jesse

Thank you for the information. I now have a record that lists Anna Fillah as the maiden name for Metry's mother and another that lists Anna Fillah as the maiden name of his wife. The latter is a Social Security Applications and Claims Index for their daughter Catherine Neri.

My great grandmother, Gertrude Fannie (Freet) Lehman is buried at Glenwood, her information is accurate in Find-A-Grave.
However, her sister, Edna Josephine Freet, show's Gertrude's headstone. I believe Gertrude and Edna may be buried next to each other. Do you have a photo of Edna's headstone? If so, could you please update the record?
Thanks for all you do, and your assistance is greatly appreciated.

OK I took care of it.
|Mary B||David Ackerman and Hannah Marchal|
For years I've been trying to resolve the mystery of the death and burial places of David Ackerman b. 1745, son of Jacobus Ackerman and Maritie Enderse and his wife Hannah Marchal or Marshall b. 1748.
I see that on June 30, 2016 you added them on findagrave to Amawalk Hill Cemetery in Westchester Co., NY. David Ackerman is #166239391 and Hannah Marchal Ackerman is #166239462.
Could you please share with me the source or record you used to determine that they were buried on those dates in Amawalk? I'm trying to figure out why they are repeatedly said to have been buried in Westchester county when they lived 150+ north in Saratoga County, NY. In 1822 Hannah Ackerman is listed in Galway Saratoga Monthly Meeting records as a widow. That same year she moved 100 miles further north to Jefferson County, NY where most of her children were living at the time. I know of no connection they may have had to Amawalk, but would like to know if there was one.
I am a descendent and would very much appreciate if you could reply to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you, Mary Bryant
