I have always been fascinated with the "Ladies of the Cemeteries" and have taken their Photos every chance I got. Now have well over two thousand of them, but, in the ignorance of my youth, did not think to record their locations.
I spend a lot of time looking at old topographic maps of Ohio looking for cemeteries and then trying to find them.
As always, If you spot an error on any of my listings ( I never really learned how to type ), or would like to take over any of the Graves I list, or even see if I have a higher resolution photo of the tombstone, let me know.

Hi Jim Z,

Thank you so much for taking and posting the Lance headstones found in Waltz Cemetery. This has greatly helped my genealogy research.

Thanks, Jim. It enhances a memorial when it has a photo of their headstone. Ken

Duncan headstones
I just discovered the fotos of my uncles who died in the Civil War, Andrew Cathcart Duncan and John Kendall Gibson Duncan, who share a monument, their paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Andrews Duncan, whose headstone looks like it may be next to her grandsons, and their father's sister, Ann Elizabeth Duncan Andrews, who shares a monument with her husband, Arthur Andrews. I don't know if that one is with the other two, but Ann is Elizabeth's mother. I am so thrilled to see these graves. They are beautiful. The boys are actually buried in national cemeteries, so this one, and a monument in their parents' cemetery, are cenotaphs - both are beautiful monuments to the boys' ultimate sacrifices. It makes me wonder why it was placed here, since the grandmother and aunt had already died. I guess it's because the parents were still alive, and this is the cemetery that they would have visited back then. I've always wanted to see their monument here. Nice fotos. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the time spent taking and uploading photos of Anson Randall and his wife Maria. Also, thanks for creating memorials for his mother and first wife, Elizabeth. It is really appreciated.

Re: Dennis Jourdain
Thank you so very much for the effort you put in trying to get a legible picture of my Great-Grandfather's gravestone. Although they aren't very clear, I'm thrilled to see pics of the stone and it's location.
