Hi Terry, You added a nice picture of his gravestone last year. Thank you so much. It was at Center Cemetery in Torrington, CT. Do you ever go back there? I cannot find his sister's grave, who never married, but died much later, in 1950. Her name is Henrietta Maud Treat (1862-1950). And I would think be next to him and/or her parents, also buried at Center, Merritt Treat and Henrietta M Taylor.

I was just wondering if you ever saw a gravestone for McAlpine "Alpine" Pierce's 1st wife at the Cornwall Cemetery? He married Patience Barnes in 1793 in Cornwall, CT but she must have died before the 1850 census as another wife was listed. His second wife, Loley Hunt, is buried in New York but she died in 1858 , four years after Alpine. I apologize if I've already posed this question to you in the past. I am returning to research on this side of the family.

I am a descendant of John Barlow and writing an article about ancestry. May I use the photo of his gravestone at Kent Cemetery in CT?

Terry, thanks a million for the great pic of the gravestone of my 5th great-grandmother Abigail (Curtis) Barnum. You're the best!
Cheers to you,

Thanks so much Terry!

Thanks, Terry!!! Hugely appreciate it!!! From your photos I've learned that an ancestor - who I had guessed was the brother of one of my direct ancestors - was in fact his son.
