Life-long, third-generation Washingtonian. |
I generally take and post 3 photos of a headstone or plaque, but sometimes another if there is something that may be of interest nearby. Please let me know if you want/need the original photo files sent to you, as well as posted here.
More than happy for you to let me know if you ever want new photos taken and posted (such as during different times of the year), or want different views than what I've taken.
Please notify me prior to copying my photos to any other site. It's usually fine with me, but I like to know where they will appear, as these photos are copyrighted.

|Susan Cobb||RE: Sarah and Richard Cobb at ANC|
Hello, this is Susan Cobb the only birth child of Richard Slade Cobb. Thank you very much for taking the photographs as my mom is on the backside of his grave and one day I will be added to their gravesite. I fought for my dad's honor as he died an early death in the line of duty for our country and won his service connection in 2012. I do not believe that money should be given when honor has been granted because my dad earned the honor - also signed up to not only work for our country to give his life for our country.
Does not anyone understand anymore that it is an honor to die for our country? I do. My dad instilled that in me. And I believe this to be true.
I one day I am to be buried with them and it is my hope that people will know that my dad died for our country by choice and he held the traditions of courage and honor.
No lie so he told regarding my dad or myself or my mom for our Lord Jesus Christ holds the truth in the palm of his hand.
How I lived this long I have no idea except for by God's grace.
I ask that when I pass, and my name is added to the gravestone that a photo be taken as we are a family through eternity and I have no other funds to keep our family name together. We lived, laughed, cried and most of all we loved each other deeply. Hurrah! To the Cobb family: Richard Slade Cobb, Sarah Ann Summers Cobb and Susan Cobb and one adopted child. May God have mercy on our souls. With respect, Susan --- Susan Cobb - At 55 I am an adult dependent child whose dad died service connected in an honorable way. I can only try to live up to such high standards and honor. I will never give up. Thank you, Susan ( Susan Cobb )
Thanks so much for the photo you took of Quentell Violett for me. It is a lovely photograph and I appreciate you taking the time to do it for me. It was quite helpful.
