One Final Gift

Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by....
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times....
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see....
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me.
by D. J. Kramer

Find A Grave volunteers have connected me
to family, and I count it a privilege
to help others connect with family or friends.

It saddens me when there is no headstone
or it's broken and illegible. I guess that's why I like the poem....everyone needs to be remembered.

Thank you so much for looking for the headstone. Must be, like you said, unmarked.

Thanks Again,

RE: Theodolphis
Hi Linda, thank you so much for the advice and offering to find Theodolphis Williams headstone .I've found two Theodolphis Williams from the same Williams lines. One used the nickname "Tug" and one was "Off". Around same dates also. I am now trying to make sure which one is which. Confusing but I'll get it straight soon. Hopefully :) I'll keep you posted. I heard my mother talk about her Uncle Off Williams. I appreciate you very much,Take care,Tania

Theodolphis "Off" Williams
Hi Linda, thank you so much for your time and efforts in locating Mr.Williams burial location. I checked for him on Florida digital library records and I believe he may be buried under John Theodolphius (can't remember how to spell his first name right off) Williams buried at Evergreen Cem in Duval Co Fl. (Jacksonville,Fl) I'm researching more on this. I can't get a response from the creator of his memorial, there's many errors on these Williams burial locations. The person who now manages these memorials hasn't responded to my edits or questions in over a year. These are my Williams lines and I'm trying to get people who create my family memorials to correct burial locations on findagrave. Most of them will not work with me or correct. Very disheartening. Most (in my connecting Williams memorials in Florida are created in wrong burial locations and wrong names. I've made many errors but love to be corrected with proper proof and documentation. Thanks again for your hard work. Sincerely,Tania

I sent you correct info for Margie that you can add to her monument. I also sent you link to Andrew her husband. Some one has another monument 40252052 in IOOF cemetery but this is not her. It has a pic of a stone that isn't hers either. Her husbands is 33458089 and her son Calvin is 22678229.
