IMPORTANT NOTICE: Over the years I have left hundreds of memorial notes on Confederate veteran's FindAGrave memorial pages, using a particular Confederate Flag as a symbol. Recently I discovered that flag had been replaced with flowers. If you see one of my memorial messages left on a memorial page with flowers instead of the flag, please notify me so that I can make the appropriate changes.|
Sons of Confederate Veterans Compatriot - Camp No. 1921 - The Tallassee Armory Guards.
Please feel free to use/share photographs and other historical information I've posted to memorials.
The Chattahoochee Valley Historical Society has endorsed FindAGrave and as a member of that society I have visited many cemeteries and added graves/memorials on its behalf.
I manage several hundred memorials in Chambers County, AL that Hank Rogers transferred over to me before he became inactive with F.A.G.
Also, most of the very old newspaper items on my memorials are through the courtesy of F.A.G. Member #47182102 who has painstakingly transcribed volumes of "The LaFayette Sun", the official newspaper of Chambers County, Alabama.

|Jen Walston Harris Hill||RE: Jane Ramage Bonds|
Thank You so much for confirming "Colvin" reading that WILL was impossible to tell! & since this isn't my direct Bonds line, I just dabble into them while trying to link the Bonds together Correctly, so Colvin, Richard & John were brothers of Jenny/Jinny WELSH & Nancy MURPHEY & all children of James Bonds d.1820 who is the son of John Bonds d1809 all in Laurens SC? or is John d.1809 James Brother? would you by chance know? Sorry I have to pick your brain since you knew Miss Nell Orr ;)
Thank You for contacting the other memorial owner & letting them know about yours!

John Archer Elmore had two wives:
Mary Ann Sarah Saxon - died young in Laurens County, South Carolina, and is probably buried there, not in Alabama.
Nancy Ann Martin - buried on her and his home place named Huntingdon (with a "d") formerly in Autauga County now Elmore County, Alabama.
It appears that you have confused the two wives as well as the maiden and married name.
|Edith Blankenship||RE: Jeptha C. McClendon|
I believe the person you refer to was Joseph Cooper McClendon. I did not have a birth date for Jane R Johnson, so did not realize she was not his mother.
I have corrected this error.
|Peggy Adams||RE: Barrow cemetery|
We are l was not aware she contacted you. Thank you for your response.
|Peggy Adams||Barrow cemetery|
Could you please give me the road and directions to the Barrow cemetery in Pike county in zebulon my great grandfather EP Barrow is buried there...thanks Peggy Adams
|C. R. Lane||Marvin Pridmore|
I have added the obit for Mr. Pridmore. Thank you for sending it. Would you please check the address. It looked a little strange to me as house numbers don't usually reach a 6 digit number in Decatur. Thank you.
for giving me credit on the Lewis Daniel page- (for his will naming Elizabeth Gray). Few do!
|DSmith||RE: Hamilton Wade|
Thank you for checking!

|Paul Bartley||Bartley memorials|
DC, many thanks for the transfer of memorials of some of my Bartley clan!
Thank you for the obit. I have added it to the memorial. I wonder if you have an obit for Mariah Adams Wade, Hamilton's first wife. She died in the early 1870's, I believe.
