Melanie McKinzie Hester: I believe each of us have the right to know who our ancestors are, the part each of them played in building our county, state, and county, and how each contributed to make us who we are. If each of us would add information from nearby cemeteries, others could find their ancestors! Just seeing a photo of an ancestor, even if only a headstone, makes them more real! Not to mention all the history that is being preserved for generations to come.

John and Sallie Hays and their 2 Infant Sons
Melanie,
Thank you so much for adding the information I sent you to your Memorials for these 4 deceased souls and thank you also for linking their Memorials to each other. They are on a far out branch of my family tree and I am grateful to you for creating Memorials for them.
Mary

I have information that there is another son that you do not have listed on Find-A-Grave...Joseph Walker Carter. Please contact me so we can compare information.

Who added the "Jack" to his name and added his birthplace? If you have information that I don't, would you share? My best guess of his birthplace would be Vermont. Mary Tate

Thank you for the info. Do you happen to have a copy of Henry Patton Blythe's obituary that you mention. If so could you possibly email me a copy. Thanks again, Rose.

Alice Croasdale Potts and family
I see you are descended from Alice and her husband. Is that correct? If so then we are related as well. She is my 8th gr grandmother.

Please drop me a line and perhaps we may exchange information on our family lines.

You and I are actually related through James A. Priest. My line goes through Harriet Isabelle Priest and yours is through Maryha L. Priest.

Alice May Pierce Seay FAG #47132893
Other than their son not knowing the given name of his grandfather, I have no other reason. He did have the surname correct. The name of Alice's mother is correct and we know from census records that Alice was born in December 1890 and in Kansas.

Alfred Tompkins #41794598

I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer Alfred Tompkins #41794598 to me, he is my husband's 3rd great grandfather and I would like to add a bio to his memorial.
Thanks, Jan
