Bio

I would prefer to be contacted about duplicate memorials instead of using FInd A Grave's process.
I believe with communication where the memorial resides and who manages it can be better achieved without an intercessor.

Do NOT use my photos in any other applications. Thank you.

I would love to build the biographies (original stories) of any of the memorials I manage. So please feel free to send me what you would like me to add. Do not forget to write if and how you would like to be noted as a credit for the information... Name, partial name, handle, etc.

I am happy to cut and paste anything exactly as you send it to me so long as NO LIVING person is mentioned in the update. If it is not my Direct line, I am happy to Transfer once I have tried to get any valuable clues about my direct line. Please do not post obituaries on my memorials.

CAUTION: DNA matches are evidence. They are NOT PROOF!
Y-DNA match indicates two males have a common male ancestor.
mt-DNA match indicates two people have a common ancestor along their mother's, mother's, mother's line.
Autosomal DNA matches indicates that you share DNA from a person or multiple people. It is on a logarithmic scale meaning those with several thousand CM's in common are closely related and those is the doubled-digits are more distant cousins, typically. This DNA is NOT evenly distributed which another reason why it cannot be proof.
x-chromosome matches are typically a small subset of Autsomal and can be helpful in pairing-down your research.
Please DO NOT make changes to memorials and connections in Find A Grave based solely on DNA. Changes should be made preferably with first degree sources like an original death certificate, etc. Please familiarize yourself with these. Thank you.
Together we can hopefully mitigate the horrible effects of the DNA virus on Genealogy.

I am so thankful for the rewarding contacts I have made through Find A Grave. Several are family I never new I had. And they are wonderful.

I am glad for all those that I have been able to work with so far and for all those who I will be able to work with in the future. If I have not done something to your liking then please contact me as I wish to be respectful to all who work so hard to make Find A Grave what it is.
I promise I work with anyone who contacts me appropriately.

Best Wishes to all and God Bless.
