Wanted to give you a little information on Peter M. Smith: He was born 18 Mar 1818 in Jackson Co., TN. In 1850 he was a farmer in District 11 of Jackson Co., TN, living near the Darwin family at Flynn's Lick on the Cumberland River. He migrated to Shannon Co., MO in 1857 with the Nettles family. Is any of that in you Smith history? Thanks again, Linda
Father & grandfather of John & Peter Smith were both supposed to be named Peter, also.

I saw the photo you posted of James. I'm trying to verify my 2x great grandfather's ancestry. His name was Peter M. Smith, supposedly brother of John Smith--father of James Guthrie. Peter Smith married Elizabeth Darwin. Have you ever come across his name in your research? I would appreciate any information you may have. Thank you very much, Linda

Thanks for the memorials that you posted! Enjoyed reviewing and seeing pictures to bring back memories. My daughter found this site and informed me about it. Hope you and family are doing well!
|bvn||Photo permission please?|
Hello. You have added photos to memorials of some of my family members. So far I have found the Matthews family in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville. May I please have your permission to include your pictures in my family records? Credit for the source would be included, and copies would be for personal use, not for publication or posting elsewhere on the internet. Thank you very much!

I see we are related -- kinda out on a twig -- I have Sims going back to Absalom Sims and Sarah 'Sally' Harp who are my g.g.g. grandparents.
HOWEVER, my reason for sending this note is small error I hope can be
easily remedied. - I was looking for some of 'my' Sims and found Sarah Dezzie Sims -- daughter of Thomas Paris Sims, etc.
Unfortunately - she is listed as Sarah *DIZZIE*
She was Sarah DEZZIE -- even says so on the tombstone... Not REAL important, but I can just see people who just copy and don't actually LOOK at the pictures dutifully entering 'Dizzie'into their records!!!
Thanks so much for your hard work - I have only posted a couple of
cemeteries, but it is gratifying, all the same.
Pam Blair [in Idaho -- how I hope to visit Georgia some day!]

Ms Bloomer: I have sent you a private message regarding Clara and her family.
Weather is so bad in Lexington KY that I've been housebound so took advantage of time to ramble around my long-neglected genealogy sites and kept running into your name! Isham Hansford Bilbrey is my 4th maternal ggrandfather and Emily Matthews is my paternal great grandmother.

I am looking for family of Nagle Park Young, who was a WWII Gunner on a B-17. Mary Park Young was his mother.
