Bio and Links
Bio Photo I spend a lot of time with my oldest grandson, Aidan. His little brother came along recently and so far my oldest continues to remind me that he is my number one.

Genealogy is something I started doing about twenty years ago with the goal of recording "the original ten"; they where the seven boys and three girls of my grandparents. That has grown to over 5,500 people now, of which many are not Waldrops.

Pen, pad and digital camera are with me wherever I go ready to record whatever catches my eye. If you see someone with two little dogs, Brandy and Buffy, the old geezer will be me.

Henry and Lula
Thank you, Ray: you are most kind. I thought you might be related to her first husband because of your last name.

Hi, Ray. I sent an edit to you just now because the memorial you created for Henry (my mother-in-law's first cousin) lived in Buncombe County, but he died here in Smokey Mountain Rehab in Haywood County. My husband and I took care of him during his last year, and when the doctor said he had to go into a nursing facility, we were able to get him in near our home so we could visit daily. He died there four months later. Am I correct in assuming you are a relative of his wife Lula?

Charles Lorenzo Thomas
Hi, Ray,
I am not sure, but it is quite possible that we are related. I see too many familiar names here that go with my family names. I grew up in Easley and I see that you have my Great-Grandfather's memorial, Charles Lorenza Thomas. Is there a chance that you would be so kind to transfer him to me? I am trying to add information to the ones that I can transfer. I started doing genealogy when I was little with both grandmothers, one of them being the daughter Cora Lee Thomas, of Chaarles and Lydia. He was absolutely my mother's aorite person when she was a child.
Thank you for giving this your consideration. Thank you very much!

RE: Mary Powell Arnold
Ray I am going to library this weekend to get copies of William and Mary's obit and try to find one on Bessie. I think one of the Blackston family members have a copy but need to remember who.
