|I have been collecting Higley Family History for 19 years. Today I have over 39,000 Plus direct descendants (not including the spouses) of Captain John Higley, Simsbury, Connecticut. |
Now it's time to retire and pass the torch to someone else. Never forget the lost love ones, and enjoy the family history.

After trying to contact site owner without response, I will post a public message.
William H. Grover # 107758115 is actually buried in Clark Chapel Cemetery; see # 79972283.
The wife listed for William H. Grover at # 107758115 is wrong as well; Sarah Williams Grover is the wife of William HASKINS Grover, both burials currently unknown. Sarah was the second wife of Wm. H. Grover. Elizabeth Weeks was his first wife.
Please go to http://www.ohiogenealogyexpress.com/gallia/galliaco_bios_1882/galliaco_bios_1882_g.htm and read the biography of William Haskins Grover for additional information

|Aunty Bev||Louis M Higley, #125167095|
I am confused regarding the relationships given for Louis. His death record states that his father was Moses Higley, a native of Vermont. Yet he is linked here as Moses's brother. Louis cannot be the son of Mercy Haskell Higley because she would have been way past childbearing years when he was born. I think Louis is the son of Moses Higley and Mary McCurdy.

Thank you so much Leroy for the transfer. I do have a few documents and photos of the Higley's...and there are probably more at my Mom's house in Glen Ridge, NJ. I'll check them out and get you copies. I may also post a few on memorial pages. Again, thanks a lot for the transfer and all the work you've done on the Higley family!!!
