|Bio and Links|
Originally from central New Jersey, I've been living in California since 1991. I'm a volunteer cemetery photographer and am not related to most of the people I have added. Entries are posted in the interest of history and genealogy, and the hope that someone will add my ancestors (Applegate, Paladino, Stahl, Bunting, Roninger (Ronocher), Hutchinson, Richardson, Coleman, Wilson, Flock, Krauter, ...).|
For those of you who send me bios, obits, linkages, etc. . . THANK YOU! They are greatly appreciated. Please include the source of the information provided. If no source information is provided, I will list your contributor name/number as the source.
Please do not leave transfer or update information below; they will not be acted on and will be deleted. Instead, please use the EDIT tab on a memorial if you find any errors that need correction, you wish to add a biography, or are requesting a transfer. When requesting a transfer, please make one transfer request per memorial (not requesting transfers for other memorials within one email). This will ensure that the requests made will be completed on the correct memorial(s).
My photos may be used for non-profit (personal) purposes only. All I ask is that any photos I have posted be credited with my name.

Hello Linda, I submitted two edit requests. To add his military rank and for the Bio Section:
Civil War Veteran
148th New York Volunteer Infantry, Co. B
Wounded at Petersburg, Virginia, June 15, 1864, necessitating the amputation of his right arm.
Second marriage to Mrs. Mae B. Morgan of Syracuse.
The source was a newspaper article on his retirement from the NYS Court of Appeals.
Thanks for having created his memorial. Paul Turner

I have taken Lynn Smith, as a spouse, off of Clara R. Smith's memorial. You may want to remove the information I had originally sent you for the memorial. The Clara Lillian Smith that was married to Lynn T. Smith, is not the one in the memorial. I just can't seem to find her any place. I had found where and when Clara and Lynn were married and her middle name was Lillian which would not be the "R" like the one in your memorial. Thanks, Linda

Thanks for sending the obituary for Caroline. They always contain such great information, so it was greatly appreciated.

Hi! I am trying to find out more about Mabel F Rodgers. She is my great grandmother. According to the 1910 US Census (which I accessed on familysearch.org), She lived in Philadelphia with Charles H Britton, a house keeper, Mabel, and her sister Ella. The two girls were respectively 12 and 9 at the time. Charles is listed as their grandfather.
You state that your great grandmother Ella was married to Charles later in life and they did not have kids, so perhaps I am grasping at straws here... but I am struggling to find any record of Mabel's biological parents, and Charles is my closest link right now.
The only other possibly relevant info I have would be that her marriage license (with James J F McCrane on 1928) is stored in a database belonging to the Clerk of Orphan's Court in Philadelphia.
I look forward to hearing from you :)

|Mark Grossman||Everett C. Applegate|
Linda, my name is Mark Grossman, and my 17th book, on true crime murder stories, is about to be published by Exposit Books, a division of McFarland Books, in a few weeks. I am putting together additional stories for a possible sequel, and I am collecting materials for one on the Applegate-Creighton murder in 1935/36. I assume that you are related in one way or another to Everett Applegate. Could you personally message me at Grossman_Research220@hotmail.com? I am trying to get some genealogical materials on Everett and his wife, and I was hoping that you might have some you could share with me, all of which I would be happy to credit you with when this story is published.
I would appreciate any assistance that you could give me. I thank you for your time.
I am currently doing work in Oak Grove Cemetery, Knights Ferry, CA. As a result I have come across some of your previous work photographing headstones and burial plots.
I want to thank you for the time and efforts you have put into this work. Your detail is truly appreciated. Because of your work I am putting forth greater effort to do a better job.
I want you to know that your work is very much appreciated. Again, thank you.
