I don't know if FindAGrave deleted 2/3 of my profile by accident or on purpose, but I won't be wasting my time to rebuild it.

William Scranton burial location
Thanks so much for your email and for your willingness to look into my 2x great grandpa's burial location!

I love the fact your specialty is WI Civil War vets and their burial locations!

How interesting that there are so many James Buttons! I need to cross check those in my extended tree to be sure I haven't put any there that belong elsewhere.

Were you able to access William's records on Ancestry? Another relative went to Louisville several years ago trying to find his grave without success.

Jennie Button parents info not correct
My 2x great aunt was Jennie Button in the Waupaca Cemetery. The Find a grave lists her maiden name was Emerson.

My family tree includes Jennie Scranton Button whose parents (William Scranton and Jane Coats Scranton Hannawalt) are buried in Crystal Lake Cemetery in the same county.

I have a public family tree on Ancestry that has a great deal of info about Jennie and her extended family. If you don't have membership in Ancestry I can give you guest access.

Thank you for the link of Delbert Curtis
I agree with you 100% about military ranks being added for soldiers. Many of these soldiers young and old fought for our freedom and deserve recognition - they don't get enough. Keep up the great work you're doing for them. I still need to link his sister Carroll.

Best Regards Sharon

RE: william graham
I got the list of burials to Mechanics off the hsp website. Naturally I threw it out not having enough room to save anything but my own family paperwork. If I can find the list again I'll try to go through it
