PLEASE DO NOT COPY MY PHOTOGRAPHS AND POST THEM TO ANY OTHER SITES. THIS IS A VIOLATION OF MY COPYRIGHT!|
PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY PHOTO'S AND POST THEM ON ANOTHER SITE OR BOOKS THEY BELONG TO ME AND MY FAMILY AND IF I HAD WANTED THEM POSTED ON ANCESTRY COM OR ANY OTHER SITE I WOULD HAVE POSTED THEM MYSELF. THIS IS STEALING AND AGAINST THE LAW.
Born 1959. Married, 6 children. Love history, cemetery art and gardening. I have been doing genealogy for 30+ years.
I am a historian. I document an event for future generations. I am not a "hawk" or a "vulture". I do not get paid for this, I do not gain anything from this. I do not wish to disrupt your grieving process. I do not do this to disrespect anyone.
I believe that after 3 or 4 generations, everyone is basically forgotten. Our graves sit there deteriorating without a care. I especially feel for childless couples or infants and children, they are forgotten sooner. I love this website, because generation after generation, our future family will be able to come here, and see our graves, and with a little love and care can see our faces also. Tracing our lineage will be so much easier for future generations.
I will post obits on memorials with proper citation. I know some people feel that this info is "private" or "personal" but.... it was PUBLISHED IN THE PAPER FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE.
99% of the time this info is invaluable to genealogists. I have had cemeteries tell me they are private property and those interred there want privacy. If someone truly wants privacy, get cremated and scattered over the ocean, don't put up a huge headstone with your name, dates...... Like having a huge billboard up on a highway and you are asked not to look at it or read it........SILLY.
**Please, no drama. I report, ignore and block, rude or offensive communications.**
I also feel creating memorials for living people is disrespectful. Anyone can find names and dates to enter, but to truly do the job correctly, the names, obits, dates and links should be complete. If you add an obit, it should be as it was printed.
My paternal grandparents were Wavie (nee Rench) & Jesse Botkin. She was the first schoolteacher in Atlanta. Jesse ran the store in town. I have a 2006 copy of the cemetery records. I will try to get the transcribed into Find A Grave.
I do my best to post accurately and respectfully.
I LOVE FINDAGRAVE. I love making corrections. I want my memorials to be as complete as possible. Bring on the additional information. I am on here every day.

|Sheryl Borgstrom||Louise Winter|
I am a relative of Louise Winter and would appreciate it, if you would transfer Louise's memorial 114708235 to me 48233882.
I'm trying to link Louise to her parents and siblings and write some bios for them.
|Linda Blake||Staley memorial transfers|
Thank you for maintaining my great-grandparents memorials. I would like you to consider transferring their memorials to my care if you are not a direct descendant. Daniel Howard Staley, #48203252, and Margaret Booth Staley, #48203313, are my father's grandparents. Thank you, Linda Blake, #49079765.
Thank you so much for the prompt transfer of my family members, Rita. We all appreciate you setting up and maintaining their memorials.
Warm regards, sellgen

In his biography you have that he is the daughter of Howard Todd. Is Douglas a he or a she?

I will be glad to okay your request for him. But you requested that Mildred P. Hocmer was both his wife and his mother. Let me know what one is right and I will add it.

Rita, thanks for the edits. Dallas and Genevieve's memorials have been transferred to you. Take care.
|HA Livingston||RE: Peter Hubbard and Agnes Hubbard|
Per Peter's memorial that you created there is information that the cemetery Little Creek Primitive Baptist Church is incorrect and that he may be buried in the Old Quaker Cemetery in Anson County, NC. However, per the link below Richmond County, NC was created from a part of Anson County and the Old Quaker Cemetery is actually in Richmond County at this point. I see your are a researcher so please read the information on the link below and it provides better details about the Old Quaker Cemetery. Hope this helps.
|Charles Nutt||Ronald Chrismann|
Ronald Dean Chrismann 104307709 is buried in the Ralls County portion of the Vandalia Cemetery. Please change this to Ralls County. I have verified this to be correct. Thanks, Charles
