Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been into family history since 1973. I transcribed all cemeteries in town Schleswig, Manitowoc County, WI in 1974.
I am currently working on Calumet County, trying to get all cemeteries transcribed.
If you have corrections or additions to anything I have on please let me know.

Thanks to anyone adding people pictures. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone had a picture.

It is nice to have photos of the cemetery stones, but please don't put in any more than two. I come along with people pictures and can not put them in because the limit has been reached.

I do not take credit for many of the pictures I post here, they are given to me by fellow researchers who want them shared with family members.
If I have any pictures of your family members, you are welcome to use them.
Hint: click on the picture you want, and that will bring up a larger file, and then save it.

I've added a new virtual cemetery -- Cemetery X. In my research I am finding obits for people who have some connections in Calumet County, but I don't know where they are buried.

If you have cemetery stones that need cleaning or repair work on old cemetery stones, Shane Peik, has a Chilton, Wisconsin based service.

Hi Rose,
You helped me out once before and would like another favor. Would you link Margaret O'Donnell McAuliff #102249889 with her mother and father.
Mother is Mary Short O'Donnell #92992818 on Find A Grave.
Father is Hugh O'Donnell.
Margaret was my great-grandmother.
the O'Donnells also had a son Dennis who moved to Mason City IA where he was married and buried.

I believe you have the family links wrong for this person. His parents are Arthur James Maloney #60858765 and Madeline Gavin #60858821. I have his obit and birth and death dates match with the gravestone pictured. Could you please make the changes.

Peter Bonde # 105619148
I just posted a photo postcard from Peter Bonde's business on t his memorial. The photo belonged to my father Glenn Lindemann, who is also in the photo. I hope it is appropriate, but if you prefer not to have something like this in the memorial, let me know, & I will delete it.

Transfer Records
Hi Rose
Thank you for your work that you have done. I am a direct relation to the following people ...all died very young in life and were children of John and Phebe Harvey, my great grandparents. I would appreciate giving you credit for your original work but would like the transfer to me since John and Phebe were my great grandparents.. My grandfather was their son John Harvey.
My requests for transfers are limited to family only and are very few but will help having the family together.
I am requesting transfer from Portland Cemetary, also known as Brant Cemetery. The five children names would have been my great aunt and uncle. The last request is for my great great grandmother.

Charles Harvey, Kitty Harvey, Hattie Harvey, Maud Harvey and Myrtle Harvey. Also, Mathilda, wife of William Harvey was my great great grandmother and I would also appreciate the transfer of her site to me (Bless be the tie that binds)

Lena Katherine Wagner Webb
Hi! Please add the information I have to Lena's page...Her parents were: Henry Wagner 1837-1891, and Anna Sultze Wagner (1846-1918) also both buried in Greenbush Cemetery. Anna was my maternal Great Grandfather's sister. Many Sultzes are buried at Greenbush, too. They were pioneers in Greenbush....B. Tetzlaff

127084582 (Hattie Bergin)
I've been sorting through my family history, and hit some confusion with my aunt Cora Bergin Konen (married to my maternal uncle, David Konen). Her husband's obituary, which is reproduced on his record 84872652 page gives Hattie's maiden name as FENELSON, not FENLASON, so I submitted a change.

Then, however, I saw that on her daughter Cora's page 119261630, her maiden name is given as HURLING. I can't be sure, of course, but I suspect that's a confusion with her husband Carl's mother's maiden name, which is HERRLING (84872657).

Do you know Hattie's correct maiden name?

Juno/Schabach/Engel/ Leffring Connection
Hi Rose
Thank you for all the work you do . I am new to Genealogy and have a question regarding the Engel , Liffring families and the Schaubach Juno families. Mary Juno Schabach was my great grandmother . She was born in St. Anna and married Mathias Schabach. They lived in Mequon Ozaukee County Wi before moving back to the Calumet county area. I have been unable to find the connection between Mary Juno and Barbara Engel Liffring and John Liffring. Is Mary Juno the sister, step daughter, or daughter of Barbara Engel Leffring? If so where does the Juno name come into play? She is listed as one of the children of Barbara Engel Leffring on Barbara's gravesite. On John Leffring's gravesite it states that he had six children but only four children are listed . Mary Juno's name is not included on that gravesite. This is all very confusing and any clarification or new information would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if you could verify Peter as being buried in St Mary's, Greenleaf, Wisconsin. I ask this because his obituary lists him as being buried at St Paul, Wrightstown, Wisconsin. This is also where his headstone is located (155062968)
