Emma (Meystedt) Lind Blomeyer
Dear Karen, I have a skeleton in my family closet that I am trying to find more about. My mother was a Blomeyer and one of her great uncles was Adam Daniel Blomeyer (son of Henry & Henrietta Blomeyer --born Germany) Adam lived in St.Francois County, Mo. and later Cape Girardeau, C.G.Co., Mo. He married Emma (Meystedt) Lind, widow. Adam was a doctor and there was a scandal involving him, his wife and morphine. Some reports that she died. However, Emma (Meystedt) Blomeyer died in 1950. Adam had remarried to a Bertha Hauenschild. Emma's death certificate says she is the widow of Dr. A. D. Blomeyer, her father is Henry Meystedt, mother Johanna Daues. Informant is her son, John Lind.
Do you know anything about this mystery? Thanks for any reply. Lily

RE: Rev. Larkin Hodges (Memorial #52324671)
Thanks for the information Karen. There were many Hodges and Moody's that came to Ohio from North Carolina in the 1920's. Go take a look at memorial 142192936 to see a Hodges family that came here. They are all connected to your Larkin Hodges in North Carolina.

Thanks Karen for helping me correct the information. I will list her as Brown on the family tree. It is really great to have people like you who can give good information. Thanks again, and thanks for your Find-a-Grave work.

New Lorimier pictures
Hello - I was at New Lorimier cemetery yesterday taking pictures in section 1 - trying to eventually get all the graves photographed. It seems that your pictures of Toellners and Uhls are not coming up on their memorial pages. Please let me know if I am mistaken and I will remove the new pictures I put on there. I didn't know what to do but knew if it were me, I would want a picture of their grave.
Thanks. Ruth Smith
