Hi, I lived in McAlester and had a friend Lulu, her moms name was BeBe and she was married to Jimmy Capehart. I believe Fern was the Lady that owned a nursing home? BeBe and Jimmy lived in an Apt. upstairs. Is that Right? I would love to be in contact with LuLu again, would you know anything about any of them.
I think BeBe had a sister or a neice named Melanie. Any help would be appreciated,

I noticed that you had left flowers for John H. Capehart. Are you related to John? He is my great great grandfather.
Do you by chance know where his wife Elmira Spikes Capehart is buried? I've been unable to find her.

Tis indeed sad and that section is so far in the back people get away with it, yes it just really makes me sick how people can mess with our beloved headstones is beyond me.
Have a wonderful Easter,

Today, April 1 2010 I went to Union Cemetery to fulfill your photo request on Robert Hamilton.
He is indeed buried at the Union Cemetery in a section known as Haven of Rest but in the County section. Block 1504-C. There is no marker there or around the blocks or space near by. This section unfortunately has been vandalized many times and many headstones are missing and broken. It's very sad to see.
I am also sorry that this request has taken so long and that no marker was found.

A fellow Find A Grave member has informed me that Union Cemetery office staff is no longer allowing volunteers grave site information without the "block number" that the grave is in or written permission from the person who is requesting the photo.
The phone number for the Union Cemetery office is 661-324-9648. If you call and get the block number your loved one is in and include it with your request or send us a message giving us your permission to take the photo we volunteers here in Bakersfield will do the rest :o)
|Diane & John||Re: Arvel Greenlee|
We discovered that Arvel Greenlee is not in the large Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery but is in the Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery across town. I have posted a photo there. He is buried in their Mausoleum (Loc F-22): http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=greenless&GSfn=arvel&GSbyrel=in&GSdyrel=in&GSob=n&GRid=16528775&
The name is misspelled at Greenlawn Southwest: Greenless instead of Greenlee. I see that both those memorials were created by the same person: KC Bolton-Potter http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=19433480
You might contact that person to help straighten all that out.
WE WENT TO SNOWBALL AND WHISENANT CEMETERY AND COULD NOT FIND CHARLES PRITCHARD.THERE WERE MANY PLAIN CONCRET SQUARES AND FIELD STONES BUT NO GRAVES WITH THE PRITCHARD NAME.THE CEMETERY IS ON TOP OF THE HILL WITH BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEWS ALL AROUND AND VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF.IAM SORRY WE WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND IT. IN PEACE--CAROLINE PIERCE

|David Holcomb||Truman and Iva Harrington|
Hi I am the FindAGrave Vol. who signed up to take the pictures you requested. Unfortunatly Truman and Iva are not in Lancaster District Cemetery, they are in Joshua Memorial Park just down the road. I suggest you contact Richard Holt (firstname.lastname@example.org) who controls the memorial on FindAGrave and ask him to move it to the proper cemetery. I have the pictures ready to post but will wait till the location is corrected. Let me know, Dave
