I have been actively pursuing my passion for genealogy since 1997. When I was a child my parents diligently pored over records in libraries and courthouses during our family vacations to Florida (so boring as a child). Thankfully I've come to respect their interest and value their findings. |
Maternal side: (Iowa and midwest to New England) Hetherington, Scott, Joy, Edwards, Scohy, Hendrix, Jackson, Barrett, Nelson, Clark, Dickinson, Fish, Townsend and so so many more way beyond colonial times and Europe.
Paternal side: (Georgia and southern states) Pearson, Guthrie, Register, Breeden, Head, Catchings, Roby, Register, Dees, Sirmans, Newbern, Rainey, Hill and so so many more.
First husband's side: Puellmann/Pillman, Mestemacher, Sexton, Aydlott, Rhoades.
Second husband's side: (Czechoslovakia, Lebanon, Spain) Belusky, Supej, Masny, Joseph, Landeau.
Third husband's side: just kidding, that's just crazy talk :)
Found a pirate, some "witches", hard working landowners, royalty, and miners. Oh what stories our ancestors could tell us... When we die we become "stories" in the minds of other people. I believe it's our responsibility to document our heritage because once it's forgotten it's gone.

|Diana in Denver||Grace McHugh|
I have been researching for a friend and truly appreciate the memorial for Grace McHugh. From various newspaper articles I've found through Colorado Historic newspapers it seems possible that Grace was buried next to her brother, but she is buried next to Charles and Margaret Staples (some say she was their niece) . . . After her death, her mother Alice Golby (?) sued the production company for $5000. They claimed they had a release from her husband and (again from a newspaper item) friends in Golden said she admitted having been secretly married. I'd love to learn more about this fascinating gal. The stories are often in conflict. One item said she was in a boat (rather than on a horse) when swept into the river . . . Diana Copsey Adams,

Thank you for your quick response!

Hello, please remove Amanda (Evans) Beaman from this Elizabeth as her mother. She indeed was the daughter of William Evans and Elizabeth Smith, but not this Elizabeth. Her true mother is buried in Union Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO. Thanks!
|Mitzi Butler||Mable L. Rune #33070038|
I cannot remember if I sent you an email and forgot to write it in my notes. There is a duplicate memorial for Mable L. Rune. It is managed by Mike Meyer #149010855. Maybe you can get with him and combine. Your memorial is more complete. I may have contacted him. Sorry I cannot remember.
|Northwest Suburban Genealogy Society||Incorrect Death Date in description|
Brady Kyle Lowery died Jan 22, 2010 as you have on the date of birth. The following information you have in the description is wrong - please correct it. Thank You!
Brady Kyle Lowery, 23, Oak Grove, Mo., died January 22, 2009. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m.,
Could you please tell me the source of this information. There are no dates or a location, so I'm at a loss as to how it locate it for a photo. If you don't respond, I'll have find a grave detete this. I'm working on updating the cemetery record so I want it to be accurate. I won't add this first name without other data. Thank you.
|Jean Wilson||Phebe Ellen Manifee|
I looked under "Phebe Ellen" and found another memorial for your "unknown". Check it out under this name. Your memorial was made in 2008, and theirs in 2013, & currently maintained by find a grave. You should be able to assume this memorial with more info. Good luck.
I was updating your unknown to change to Nellie Barrett, & when I entered Nellie Barrett in the Find A Grave cemetery list, another Nellie.came up w/ this burial location. Check it out, please.
