Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been taking pictures of gravesites for a number of years, esp metal markers and highly carved stones As my area is rural I have done searches throughout south eastern Indiana (south of I-70 and east of I-65). Started taking pictures of others when I ran out of family members.

Joe, obviously this William Whitfield is related to you? I had originally thought he was my GG Grandfather, but I may have been wrong. My G. Grandfather is a William Watson Whitfield and he died at Knoxville, Tn and was a Confederate Soldier. Can you shed any light on my relation to him if any. Thank you, Nancy

Whitfield memorial
Thank you for the additional info for James Whitfield's memorial. I have been working with Bill Meyers to link the family members in Aux Sable Cemetery. Seems you may be cousins?

Hi, Joe - I believe there's a possible relation for me with this Whitfield. My great grandfather was Cebren William Whitfield originally from Florida. He had two brothers named Alvin (Elvin) and William Whitfield. My father was named after Alvin (his middle name). The only name I have for his father is Doc or Dock Whitfield (from his Death Certificate) who I believe died in Georgia in the Civil War in 1864. Doc's wife's name was Leander Mae (Ann) Bruner. My Grandpa Whitfield is buried in China Spring, TX where my family is and Ann (his mother) would come from Florida to visit him. Can you shed any light? Thanks much, Nancy Yankie Sidarous

Hi Joe,
I see you have family photos of people from this cemetery. I am curious if you have any information on the Usher, Norman, or McFee families? Thanks, Jane
