I am recovering from a stroke and doing well. My right hand doesn't function well when it comes to typing, so this is slow and frustrating. Hopefully, with a little time this will improve.The best way to get my attention is to call me at 519 716 4359. |

|Sharon Fulton||RE: Nellie Fairhall Shank|
The only thing to rectify is the link.
There are two memorials for Agnes Fairhall Shank (aka Nellie).
One is the actual burial site in Detroit.
Find A Grave Memorial# 150815626
The other is a cenotaph at Victoria Square.
Find A Grave Memorial# 176259552
The latter has been designated as a cenotaph by Find A Grave. (See this -> *Cenotaph [?] - under the Burial Field).
A headstone photo had been added to her husband Ira's memorial at Victoria Square by ConnieL. Since Nellie's name appeared on the stone too, I asked Connie to add her photo to Nellie's cenotaph memorial. Which she did.
But at the same time, she sent you an edit request linking Nellie's cenotaph memorial to her husband Ira. This is the incorrect part.
When there are two memorials - one burial and one cenotaph - Find A Grave has asked that we only link to the burial memorial. Otherwise, you end up with two sets of links. If you look at Ira's memorial right now, Agnes/Nellie is showing twice as a spouse - linked once via the burial and again via the cenotaph.
You just need to approve my edit which will remove the cenotaph link.
Clear as mud? :)
That's him for sure..

May I please copy the obit article you posted on this man, to my family tree on ancestry.com. He was my 4th great uncle. Thanks.
Allan; I have the marriage & death registers of Marguerite Weseloh. Also she was married to a Julius Engel that I entered to Find A Grave.
Mry question is would you mind transfering her entry to me or do you want me to give you the information?
Done. I will also see if I can't get a gravestone photo as well. Won't be til springtime now.

He had definite ties to Galt as his wife was born there, as were several of his pre-1865 children. They seemingly moved to Fergus ~1865 when their daughter was born at Fergus that year. It's such a unique name & trade, I'd say it's the same man.

Wow...I don't even know how to respond (or why I'm bothering) to such a rude, pompous individual. I am more than related "just by marriage" to Jan Dankert. She's my aunt. And yes, I don't have 17,000 plus memorials to my credit as my intent is to not just simply be a name gatherer such as yourself. I'm simply trying to put my immediate family members into my own grouping so that I can add the family pictures, stories, etc. that you couldn't possibly have! So you go ahead and continue to make people feel badly, or inferior, that they don't play the numbers game you do. Merry Christmas!!!

|Lavelle||RE: John K. Turnbull|
Well I've found this for him:
John K. Turnbull b. 1884 St. Paul, Minnesota
d. April 5 1907 Manhattan, New York City, NY
s/o John Turnbull and Jessie Utglehart
Came across his death cert., while searching for another John Turnbull, but couldn't find his memorial ON Find A Grave. It was noted on the death cert., burial Cambridge, Ontario Canada

Hi Allan, you have a memorial for J. Harold Turnbull interred at Parklawn. I have information that another Turnbull should be buried there as well. John K. Turnbull died April 1907 NYC. Would you know if he's actually there? I'd like to set up his memorial, but not sure if Parklawn is the right cemetery. Death cert. shows Cambridge, Ontario, Canada for burial place. Thank you.
