I'm happy to transfer any memorials of people I'm not related to.
FIRST please read the FAQs here: Transfers
Then click on the EDIT tab at the top right corner of the memorial and then click
"Suggest any other correction or addition". This will generate an e-mail from Find A Grave with links to the memorial and your member page... less chance for errors this way.
I'm only human and I make mistakes (especially when my "Coffee Low-Level Warning Light" is blinking); so any Edits or additions are gladly welcomed. ^_^
For corrections/additional facts for a memorial,
see here: Corrections
Then click on the EDIT tab at the top right corner of the memorial. It's easy to make edits to Dates/Places, Family Links, Name, Plot/GPS location, and Marker Transcription. For Bio info or to notify me of a duplicate, you still need to click "Suggest any other correction or addition".

Thanks for figuring out what I meant, Rich. Glad to have William Russell Cunningham's parents linked correctly!

|Dave Francis||RE: Daniel Smith Edit|
This is "Find a grave", so I'm inclined to go with the data on the headstone, and not other data. I'll change the date to 1766 and put a note in the bio that bible records show a different date. Sound good?
|Dave Francis||Daniel Smith Edit|
Rich, what is your proof that Daniel Smith's birth year was 1766 and not 1763. I ask because I have a bible record that gives his birth ans 2 Jul 1763. I also have a record from a great-uncle that gives the year as 1766.

|Marilyn Washburn Boyles||RE: Greendale Cemetery|
Hi Rick, I agree that Greendale is not represented well on Find-a-Grave and I hope to make a bit of change in that. This cemetery is huge with over 19,000 graves in Greendale alone, so it can be a bit intimidating. I photographed many headstones that were not yet on Find A Grave so added them as I went along.
I went on my first adventure there, mostly just to walk the trailhead, but my love of the old headstones has me hooked so I just took some time to take a few shots here and there as I made my way from the top of the hill down to where I parked my car. I did stop at the office and got a map and already have some idea of where I want to start. I have a list of the requested photos with me also. I would like to tackle just one section at a time as I familiarize myself with the layout of both cemeteries.
Tackling a job of this size will take some time, so I will keep my fingers crossed and look forward to my next visit there. I am a local, so I should be able to manage a few trips throughout the summer. I do however, take care of another local cemetery (Hatch Cemetery) which I run a facebook page for as well as in depth research on the people who are buried there.
If there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know.
|BustedFlipper||RE: Re: Uncle Alfred|
Thanks so much for transferring my Uncle Al's memorial to my care. I wasn't expecting that and it's very generous of you. I will take good care of him!
Thank you for sponsoring the memorials of my parents, William and Shirley Van Dusen!
perhaps you can help me. Alexander's daughter Annie's husband Albert Everett Rogers is how I firsts came into the family line. I am having difficulty finding Albert's parents- his father Thomas Rogers being from Plymouth Mass. I lost sight of them in West Virginia and also his son Andrew Stewart Rogers seemed to disappear in Mass. I'm wondering if they too might be at Wyoming Cem but haven't found any list or contact. If you have any ideas would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Thanks for the hint! Usually I catch duplicates but I missed this one.

It is good to hear from you again. I've not been doing much lately with the family trees. It's interesting that you have Munsons in your tree. My Great, Great Grandfather Lemuel Munson came from Hartford Conn and settled in Portland. He had my Great grandfather Reuben who also resided in Portland NY. My grandfather Arlington, settled in Dewittville Chautauqua county. I haven't found any that were in Northern PA.
It would have been very interesting if we could hav e been related.
