I have been working on recording cemetery records for years along with my very busy schedule as a special education teacher and several other things I volunteer for. Since I have loved ones all over, I am excited by the opportunity to have a virtual cemetery I can use to honor my loved ones.|
I have been very excited to find the graves of several relatives, such as my father's little brother that died as an infant and whose grave was not visited by us since it was in Canada.
I come from a large family, with many of my relatives working hard on genealogy for generations. My husband's family had very little done so I have concentrated my efforts mostly on his family. I look forward to passing on this treasure to my three children and their children.
I also look forward to sharing this web site with other family members, including my husband's family that have the same passion for family history that I do.
Surnames from my husband's side:

|Mark Weitzel||Barbara Ellen Strong|
Hi Eileen, Might I ask a small favor? I can confirm that Barbara Ellen Strong (Memorial Number 138273610) is indeed buried at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Portville, Cattaraugus County, New York. I am on the cemetery board and have been researching burials. A former board member, Earl T. Parish had created some records in the 1920's thru the 1940's which I found and it does show her with a date of interment 7 April 1927. She is probably buried along a fence in section "C" or "E" in the cemetery. Would you please consider adding a note to her memorial stating as such.
Thank You! Mark Weitzel

Go ahead and put in the sons site. They are not related so don't need to transfer. This cemetery is where my mother and father ( grandparents and Uncles and Aunts ) are buried.
|Storres Myers||Susan and Lewis Gernert|
Thank you for the cemetery edits. Do you have more to contribute? I happened upon them when looking for members of my Gernert family. I don't see any relationship in this country to my family.--Storres

I deleted The Thomas entry you suggested but had no info to rewrite it for his son.
|Michael Hacking||Leo Boyd Wilcox|
You mention that Leo Boyd Wilcox actually died in Coyote, but listed his place of death and burial in Escalante. Coyote became Antimony in about 1922. Hope this helps, Mike Hacking
|Helen Currie||Bath/Beechwood Cemetery-Currie Cemetery|
Some new information has come to my attention concerning The Currie Cemetery in Carleton County and some of the Currie family that are listed in the Bath/Beechwood Cemetery which should be listed in the Currey Cemetery where their Grave stones are. Charles H Currie and Charles Gordon Currie children of Richard D Currie as well as Richard All have stones in the Currie Cemetery.
Cemetery notes and/or description:
Currie Cemetery is situated on the bend of the Saint John River, just above the road that leads to Holmsville Corner on the No. 2 Highway (now No. 105) about 1-1.25 miles above the town of Bath, Carleton Co. New Brunswick. The Cemetery is in a pasture.

Sorry about being late in fixing this issue. The erroneous image has been removed, another contributor has already placed the image on the right memorial.

You write that there are burials attributed to this location--the trouble is, there is no location, just a name. And there are two adults listed, too.
In the Forums several people have suggested that it should not be possible to enter a new cemetery unless map coordinates are given showing where it is--maybe that will be a feature in the "new and improved" website that is supposed to be coming later this year.

The death certificates only state Scalp Level, not Scalp Level cemetery. My grandfather had a step-third cousin who died as an infant; her D.C. also says Scalp Level--I left myself a note "but which?" because no amount of searching found any record of a cemetery by that name.
|Kathy (Hoy) Eltiste||Re: Hannah Schmeltz|
Have transferred both Hannah & her husband to your care. I currently am without a computer, and am working off of my phone, so thought it would just be easier to let you maintain them, and add the obit, ect.
