Hello, I am recording all "Macaulay" (Macauley, Mcaulay, etc) genealogy.
I would be most interested in any leads, comments, corrections etc.

Any and all Macaulay or Mcaulay relation transfers will be gratefully accepted and I will maintain and care for them properly.
If you would like one of my non Macaulay memorials. please ask.

I found her death certificate on Familysearch.org and it says she is at Calvary in Los Angeles. I will print out her DC and show it to a different staff person. All cemetery staff people are not created equal or at least some of them put out more effort in researching grave locations than others!
I'll keep you posted!

I will keep looking!

I meant to add that it appears the parents are duplicated as well. I have tried contacting the person who entered the names from a cemetery record but they are unavailable just now so I entered the new listings with the full info. I think this might be more helpful if someone is trying to find this family.

Hi Ian, thank you for your suggestion re merging the two entries. I do see an entry for a Miles same dates but that one is not mine and not sure how to merge. I am not done with this family yet and intend to do more links at some point but you will see I did link his parents James Oliver McCauley and Louisa Caldwell Jones. This line you may be interested in came from the Alexander McCauley b 1707 Northern Ireland (his father came from Scotland), he arrived in Boston and first settled in Hillsborough NH along with his brother James. Alexander's son James married Isabel Jameson and their son James married Betsey Thompson Bailey and settled in Dunbarton NH. The son James Oliver made violins as I stated in the bio and the son Niles learned the trade. You can on occasion find one of the J.O. McCauley made instruments at auction in the neighborhood of $1,000 which originally would have sold for around $5, a high price in its day. Niles was married but I haven't yet entered the info. Cheers, Beverly

Have transferred the McAuley memorials that I had.
Sorry not related and have no idea about the Smith Wagon Works company. Sounds like a fun search. Hope you find it.

|Renee Macauley Earnest||Irene Macauley Chatfield|
Irene was my father's mother. She put him in foster care and never released him for adoption. I cannot find any living relative to her that I can contact to get family information. If anyone knows of any I would greatly appreciate the information. My father was John Franklin Macauley born on April 20th, 1936 in Boston Ma. I would even be interested in corresponding with any of the Chatfields.
You can contact me at email@example.com
In regards to your entry of Memorial #155550636 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery,South Portland,Cumberland,Maine. Please note that Memorial #179027445 at Riverside Cemetery,Cape Elizabeth,Cumberland ME is most likely the correct grave. If you believe this entry at Riverside to be the individual you intended to enter, please consider deleting the entry at Mount Pleasant.I see that the individual is married to a MacCaulay. If I find additional information,I will send to you.
