thank you so much for taking a photo of this gravestone. His stepson has never seen it. I appreciate you taking the time to do this.
|Gold Country||Elsie Eckstrom Besoain|
Hello, Elsie's husband "Earl" BESOAIN was married many times, and Elsie was the last wife. My grandfather thought he met her because she was a waitress at the "Sea Cave", Oakland, CA. Did she live in Oakland? Do you know how they met? Thank you.

You are quite welcome. I placed the picture under his wife's memorial, as well.
|Jim||Marie Ackerman Photo Request|
Hi there. Went back to Angelus Rosedale to locate Marie's grave, and (unfortunately) confirmed that her burial spot is not marked with a headstone. According to the cemetery office, she is buried to the left of Frank Ackerman (memorial #102636512), who I assume was her husband (the dates seem to work in favor of that assumption). If this is the case, you may want to link the memorials. In the meantime, I got a picture of the general area, with Frank's headstone in the foreground and the space above that being where Marie's marker would have been placed - let me know if you would like me to post that for you (sadly, the grounds aren't really well maintained, so it's a bit depressing to see so much bare dirt surrounding the stones). Jim

No problem at all! I am always happy to search, even when it isn't easy to find what I'm searching for. And, it always makes me a little sad when I determine that a grave is unmarked. Somehow, I always assume that there WILL be a marker, and am disappointed when there isn't.

Done - you're very welcome. :)
Took the pics for you today. Could you please click on photo request on Robert's memorial page so I can fulfill that request and post the pic, as well? Thanks. :)
