Bio Photo MISSION: I believe Find A Grave's mission first and foremost is to document cemeteries; to accurately record graves, not to build one's family tree.

Find A Grave FAQs says: Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.

Find a Grave memorials [may] contain rich content including pictures, biographies and more specific information. Members can leave remembrances via 'virtual flowers' on the memorials they visit, completing the virtual cemetery experience.

TRANSFERS (PLEASE READ): Per Find A Grave FAQs, Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred.

I will consider making out-of-guideline transfers on a case-by-case basis. Please tell me your specific relationship to the one you want transferred to you. I need specifics not vague statements such as this is my family member, my relative or they are in my family tree. IF YOU AREN'T SPECIFIC, I WILL IGNORE/DELETE YOUR REQUEST. Please be considerate when asking.

This is guidelines set forth by Find A Grave. If you don't agree with them, please take it up with Find A Grave.

I am sorry about the mistake I made. The parents of this John Otradovec 63328719 are:
Joseph Otradovec Find A Grave Memorial# 72110651, and Mary Otradovec Find A Grave Memorial# 72110646

Please remove the present parents Anton J Otradovec 107617533 and Anna Otradovec 107617450. Thank you, Rita

RE: Lillian Schleger
I found her mother's obituary, but it only indicated the burial would be in Tomahawk. I couldn't find an obituary for her father. I sent an email to the historical society. If I find out the cemetery, I'll update the mother's burial.

Thanks, LZ

RE: Winston & Iva Farmer
Hi again,
After I sent that last message, I remembered I made the connection to Winston & Iva because I read C.A.'s obituary online. It is with Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus, OK on their website. Here is a link to it http://www.lowell-tims.com/PastObituary.aspx?did=ebdb2e12-59e1-4ed2-80e0-036d628d73cb. I hope this helps some more.

RE: Winston & Iva Farmer
Hi Kathy,
I'm glad I could be of some help. Clonus is buried in the Altus (OK) City Cemetery. I had submitted a picture of his wife's stone. When I do a submission I tend to try to make some connections when possible. That is what got me started on this line. I sent the connection on Clonus's memorial but he probably hasn't updated yet. His memorial is #27805243. I never could find Orville. The 1930 census I checked had him as Irville or something similar. But I couldn't track him that way either.

RE: Roselawn Headstone Photos
You're welcome for the photos. You can send me the Maron info by email or memorial suggestion. I have more branches than I'll ever figure out :) My best explanation of the Maron surname is they were French Huguenots. They spread all over Europe, a lot went to Germany, but they all are connected. But enough about me! Thanks again, Dale

RE: Annie C. Griffin/Shepperd
You're welcome. I didn't want another graver to be looking for it in vain to complete the photos. I was researching the family since they are on my tree but nowhere near a direct ancestor. She was born in Alberta, Canada but I have yet to find a birth record, just the census. I'm assuming Shepperd was her second married name and I think her maiden name might be Chapman but I haven't found any proof of it. Thanks for all your work and research!
