Thank you for putting flowers on my grandmothers virtual cemetery . If she is your 4th cousin , maybe you are my 4th cousin twice removed? Ancestry is so fascinating

Thanks for your kind words and I can assure you that I was introduced to her as and she was known as "Coy" to all of my PRICE family.

Katherine Anne Porter was actually buried at Indian Creek Cemetery and she was the Isadora Duncan of Texas. Let me know when you figure out which PRICE related man she married in Brown Co., TX.

On the other hand, I think you will find that any LOGAN buried at Greenleaf cemetery will be mine.

Thanks again for the transfer and I do mean sincere thanks!

I just discovered a record of her marriage to C. C. Carroll.

She would have just turned 15 years old. They married on August 21, 1855 in Sumter, Al.

Uncle Demp
Hi Steve,

I just discovered that Uncle Demp also had an Uncle Edward Dempsey Carroll. He was a brother to Charles Calvin Carroll and died during the civil war. He has a memorial on Find A Grave. I thought you might like to know just in case you hadn't already found it.

RE: Dempsie E Carroll
Steve, you are welcome to credit me with any puzzle piece I have, but don't feel obliged to do so. I only care that the information is shared for all of our family members who are searching.
