Nice message
Thanks for your note and kind comments.

We have some locations and other items in our life in common. I was also born in Hollywood, and raised in the San Fernando Valley (Sherman Oaks, junior high in Van Nuys etc.). I looked at a couple of your memorials (for your father and brother Donnie) and enjoyed the old photos and sweet remembrances. I had a "Donnie" in the family too (my uncle, Donn Kefes (1930-1967) who is at Forest Lawn (Hollywood Hills). My Great grandmother Elizabeth Harbaugh is at Forest Lawn (Glendale). My aunt and uncle lived about a mile from the grandiose and beautiful Glendale cemetery, so very familiar with the grounds there. Now living in northern California and enjoy photographing and assisting others with finding their family members.

Findagrave is a great place to add photos, remembrances, and little notes periodically to our loved ones. Keep up all the good work!

RE: Elizabeth White Hiatt stone photo
You are welcome. I visited the grave site last week. Find a Grave had her and Benajah Hiatt's Cemetery incorrectly identified. When I recommended changes, management of their memorials was transferred to me. I added GPS coordinates as well. They would be my 4th Great Grandparents.

Hey Gail :) If you send me "edits" to update the memorial I will do them very timely ...much better than adding in the "flowers" section of a memorial....I always credit those who send updates with their name and when they send them if they send in a message so you will get your credit :)
just sending me "there's a death certificate on Ancestry" isn't going to get it updated though lol...I have too many to spend my holiday searching that myself. sorry

Thanks for the updates for this person. If you are a relative I would be happy to transfer his memorial to you. He is not related to me in any way.

Gail I saw you left a flower on Elizabeth's memorial and was wondering if you are related to her. She is my great great grandmother, I also added a photo of her and husband Willis Washington Ward.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I put one on for his wife also. Will do more of those as time permits. Will also get out and take photos of the grave markers.

Elijah McGee
Dear Gail: really enjoyed seeing the photo of Elijah's tombstone in Argyle Cemetery. I found info on his parents and siblings, who are mostly all buried in Hancock County, but could not find Elijah's…until today!

James Henry McGee is was Great-great grandfather. I would love to see your photo of him with his mother, Mary Jane Timmons.

Thank you and All the Best,

You're welcome. Sometimes there just not there, either the family couldn't afford a stone or the old stone just crumbled. I enjoyed the beautiful day and got some needed exercise.
