|I've been doing genealogy and family history work for twenty plus years, ever since I was a young Boy Scout. My dad's early research really was the inspiration for me to continue, and I have enjoyed researching the history of my family as well as the time periods my ancestors lived.|
I believe this site is an excellent way for me to share some of the research that I have done with others. Likewise, if I can help a distant cousin locate a photograph of a tombstone, I can give back to the genealogical community. So many others have helped me throughout the years, and this is my chance to give back.
While my goal would be to include photographs of as many tombstones of my ancestors/relatives that I can find, I have also recently began walking cemeteries near work on my lunch hour, and am posting them here.

Well I sent to the others also, so perhaps one of them did and can correct this mess.

Margaret (Manis) Lawson. I don't know who linked her to this William Aaron Lawson that died in TN but that is not her husband. Her husband was William Arthur Lawson and they were married in Madison Co IN May of 1875. They were married until her death in 1926. Her husb William Arthur Lawson is but in Howard Cem also but no one has correct info on him or linked him to her.
I don't know how this all got so messed up but it sure did. I am trying my best to straighten out some of the people who have it all messed up but it will take a while I am sure.
If you linked her this Margaret (Manis) Lawson to this William Aaron Lawson please unlink them, he is not her husband.

I would love to visit my infant sister's grave in Elwood,IN Cemetery. How can I go about finding the location? She was born 10/14/1953 and died in November 1953. Thank you!

Please consider transferring her memorial to me. She is my great aunt. Her sister, Nancy Ann Hall McKee is my grandmother. My mother is Thelma Mae McKee Closser McDaniel. I am Georgianna McDaniel Coldren.
Thanks so much,

|N J Martin||RE: JOSEPH MILLER|
Yes you have his 2nd wife Elizabeth linked to him but you don't have his first wife Nicy Miller linked to him.

Howard Cem Frankton IN seems you have some links incorrect with Joseph Miller & his wife you have her as child on him and then sibling in another area?? I can't remember but it is not correct the way they are linked on there. Please check. Thanks
|Ghost Town Gal||One more thing about Lydia and Edmund|
P.S. In the family bible, aside of noting when Lydia died, and using her married name of Pierce, no other mention is made of her marriage and no mention is made of her husband, Edmund.
|Ghost Town Gal||Lydia and Edmund Pierce|
Family Search has a record of Lydia’s marriage to Edmund George Pierce 19 Oct 1858
Although I haven’t researched him, other sources have listed Edmund’s parents as:
Steven Francis Pierce 1806–1881 BIRTH 6 FEB 1806 • Vermont, USA DEATH 5 APR 1881 • Greensfork, Wayne, Indiana, USA and Rebecca Page 1806–1893 BIRTH 18 AUG 1806 • New Jersey, USA DEATH 26 JUN 1893
I’ve attached some records, and sent edits regarding her birth and family, to Lydia’s Find A Grave Memorial# 9257485
