Bio Photo DO NOT SEND ME EXCERPTS FROM DEATH CERTIFICATES. iF YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE THE TIME TO COPY AND PASTE THE INFORMATION JUST PUT THE DEATH CERTIFICATE ON THE MEMORIAL. i DELETE THOSE MESSAGES.

I am researching the different branches of my family tree. Maternal Rose, Kuhns, Drylie, Muse, & Silvis. Paternal any descendants or ancestors Of Christian & Charlotte King and Isaac/Isaiah and Emma Conover & John and Rebecca Wallace. I have traced some of these lines back to England, Germany, Scotland, Ireland as far back as 1410. I became a grave hunter when a family story led me on a search for the grave of a child who was born in 1884 and died in 1888 between census records, the church where he was baptized burned losing all records, there was not mandatory birth registration so there was no proof he ever existed. I have now been involved in a tombstone project photographing entire cemeteries in my area. My friend Franny and I have photographed 165 cemeteries in Allegheny, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania however getting them all uploaded to Find A Grave has proven to be a very long and slow process so if anyone out there is looking for someone who could be buried in this area please don't be afraid to ask it is possible one of us already has a photo. For anyone out there doing the same thing--- THANK YOU.

It never ceases to amaze me that people will just create a cemetery with out checking to see if it is already up. If I took a picture in Cemetery A. but there is paperwork saying burial in Cemetery B. I go with Cemetery A. where there is a tombstone the family has paid for. As for government documentation we all know the government never makes mistakes.

MY MEMORIALS ARE MADE FROM INFORMATION ON THE TOMBSTONES I PHOTOGRAPH. I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF THE TOMBSTONE IS ACCURATE. IF YOU SEND ME A CORRECTION THAT CONFLICTS WITH THE TOMBSTONE INFORMATION PLEASE SEND ME A COPY OF THE SOURCE YOU USED TO SEND THE CORRECTION THANK YOU

Myers family in Brush Creek Cemetery
I see that you are the one who entered these memorials. I am wondering if you are related to them. I am working on a DAR application for a lady in Chappaqua NY who descends from George Jacob Myers and Elizabeth Harman. And Solomon Myers and Esther Shrum and Jacob Myers and Ernestine Schroll. I was hoping you might have some documents that would be helpful.

Thank you

Hi Kathi,
What do you need from me since the memorials have been merged?
I think that you have control over the bio section information and you can change or remove anything not useful or incorrect.
I am not one of those who adds/updates memorials to run up numbers or get credit for anything. I only want to make certain that someone is not forgotten and that information might help someone else in their research; too many people and entire families have disappeared over the centuries.
Somehow I missed the original entry and created a duplicate memorial, which is uncommon for me to do.
I apologize for any problems this created.
If you would remove any information that is wrong I would sleep better tonight. As I say, I am not seeking any recognition and if you could remove my name as a source in the bio section, that would be good with me.
Sincerely,
Joel

May I have your permission to use your photo of the tombstone of Malinda Jane Smallwood Wolfe Peden (Find A Grave Memorial# 126264595) on my family history blog, http://abt-unk.blogspot.com, with full credit to you of course? Malinda is my 3rd great-grandmother.

Ruth Larimer Macdougall
Kathi, I'm confused. You have Ruth A Larimer MacDougall in the Mingo Cemetery, Finleyville, Wahington, Pennsylvania, USA #175594131. But when looking up her husband Robert M. Macdougall #15181733 he is listed in the Monongahela Cemetery and the headstone has her on it. There is an obit attached to Ruth's Memorial in the Mingo Cemetery but it doesn't say where she was buried. How did you get her in the Mingo Cemetery? I'm not sure where to put that she was buried.

Thanks

RE: Aron Mandel
My mother-in-law, who is 91, is pretty comfortable with his information. In fact, she said there was quiet a hub-bub when Uncle Tom wanted to marry into the family. The family wanted a good Jewish doctor as a son-in-law for Ruth, so every time Tom came around the brothers tried to run him off. Tom and Ruth were married just the same.

RE: Mandel photo
Kathi, I mean you no disrespect. I, like many, are researching family's history. My husband's great uncle was Thomas C. Langdon. Aron Mandel was his father-in-law.

I have removed the picture for the other memorial.
as you requested.

Until there is a solution for Aron Mandel, I'll use the information I've found on both.

RE: Mandel
And you and Joel King can't get this straight? Perhaps you can explain why.

Aron Mandel
Kathy, I believe there is a duplicate on Find-a-grave for Aron Mandel. This page is the duplicate: #171313868

Here is the correct page: #171313868

Aron is my kin, several times removed.

Thank you for changing this,
Candice Roy
