Happy Spring! Spring is surely coming! Before you know it the mud will give way to green walkways in the hallowed grounds of the cemeteries in your community...May you and yours find a little quiet time for reflection and may we all spread a little kindness and patience in all the seasons of our lives...|
If you have any add'l info or corrections on any of the memorials I have posted please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to send me a "correction or suggestion." Please don't be offended if I ask for your resource(s). I'm not being critical, just thorough.
I have a number of projects going at once and therefore some of my memorials are lacking details but are on my "to do" list...I try really hard to include a detailed biography on the memorials I create - most are not my family, I'm doing what I can to help others with clues - don't yell at me if what I have posted isn't what you think it should be - I am a VOLUNTEER and have a life full of challenges beyond FAG memorials, census records and birth/death certificates. I'm guilty of mistakes and oversights just like the recorders who wrote the info down over the centuries...
My motivation is to provide historical records to others. "Pay it forward." If what I've posted helps you in your genealogy or provides you some comfort because you can visit a grave from near or far, then my mission is accomplished and I urge you to help others in some way.
I don't mind if you use my pics for your personal use or even on your genealogy website but CREDIT FAG FOR THE PHOTO! If you save a photo to your computer from findagrave.com and then upload it to a website, reference findagrave.com and the memorial number, let others know about this website! Without the reference, I consider the image STOLEN.
The image of the peacock was a logo for a talent agency business in 1969 located in St Simons Island, Georgia. The owner,
"Country Bill", aka Robert Lee Davis, born Charles G Raymond, also had residences and/or connections in AL, FL, VA and MA. If you have any info on "Country Bill" or if you have seen this logo anywhere, please send me a message with any information you have by clicking below on "leave message." OR send a post to his Facebook page: click here.
Thanks for your help in telling the story of Country Bill's life/death.
Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested.
[thanks to FAG Cathy Clark for this statement on her contributor page as this is my desire and agreement wholeheartedly - perfect and appropriate]

Thanks, but no need for transfer. I started working on the Twinings as Louis Twining, Jr. was best man at my parents wedding. My folks palled around with him and his wife all thru school in the late 1930's.

Your welcome, been pumping lots of Twining stuff to Find A Grave today...
|P.Leukhardt||RE: George Henry Howes 107619024|
from my notes the Daughter of Alonzo and Emily, Edith Anna Howes, born 17 Nov 1873 Greenfield, MA. And Son, George Henry Howes, born 04 Mar 1875, possibly Greenfield, MA. I think I already tried Ashfield, MA years ago in my search but he is not recorded there. The 1880 census has Alonzo still residing in Franklin County, MA.
If you did not already try Gardner, MA it is a possibility, same as Emily's birthplace.

Delighted to be of help! This is a fascinating family. I have edits in that I found jaw dropping, mostly with heartbreak.

Thanks for the notoriety for the information I
gave but you should take credit for all the
info you put on the memorial. I would have never guessed this was a relative but with the extra info
you gave, I made the tie. Now it makes sense why
a lot of my McGregors here in Rhode Island moved
back and forth between here and New Bedford. It
wasn't just work in the mills, it was relatives there as well. Some married and stayed there
too. Hugh was the brother Of Donald McGregor
(#160330252) my Gr Gr Grandfather and his son
was Hugh McGregor my Grandfather (#126895008).

Thank you for your reply.
Somewhere in my travels though all these people, there was a crossover point that indicated they were one and the same, even though some of the info was different, but as I review it today, I am not seeing it. When I come across it again I will forward it.
Otherwise, I guess it was just a brain fart.
Thank you for your time.

I realize the death record states Daniel. My recommendation was based on the web address: http://www.angelfire.com/mi2/luskfamily/L002HuntoonFamily/HuntoonInfo/huntooninfo05L2.html#i703
Parents listed are John Kelly Huntoon and Charlotte Stannard.
I have found many vital records with incorrect information. Julia Ann Huntoon Sherman does have a beother named Daniel who died in 8962. Her father died in 1863 and is buried in the same cemetery along with her mother Charlotte.

Too much Disco? BeeGees!?

And thank you for doing all that typing (plus all the research). Much easier to just post the photo. :)
