Born and raised 77 years ago where I still reside, both sets of my great-grandparents, the Lockharts and Ellises, came to Kansas in the late 1850s. My family still lives on a part of the Lockhart land. My husband was a McDougal and I also am researching his family tree. I am new to researching our families' ancestors, enjoying every minute of it. My parents and all my siblings have proceeded me in death so I am using Ancestor.com to gain knowledge of my family.
