RE: Ebenezer Adams stone photo.
I hope to get a few more photos especially from a distance. Very well cared for now but from what the Camp has told me it was so overgrown many had no idea it was there.

Flower for Joanna Seaver
In Oct. 2016, you left a Wife of Am. Rev. War Soldier flower on Joanna Sever's memorial (81399689); that memorial has been deleted-the new memorial is 171309863.

Photo request for Thomas Hobby
Many of the older stones at Union Cemetery in Greenwich are unreadable due to acid rain. My son and I looked for your stone for nearly an hour today in this smallish graveyard, but no luck.

However, there are newer Hobby stones that are readable.

RE: Stone photo Charles England #82780623
You are very welcome. There seem to be changes in progress at this cemetery, overgrowth trimmed and several markers not placed now appearing.

Charles was under some Morning Glories that had sort of taken over but quite accessible if one just knew where. The cemetery kindly let me take a photo of their map and I was able to use that to find your Charles.

RE: Olive Gilham Close, #62706821.
I am not a relative ... but I took a picture of the stone and I believe the date is different.

RE: Solomon Close Sr., #21694959.
Probably so. He is my fifth great-grandfather.

Could you please remove the first two photos on his memorial page, the ones you added? They belong to another man.

Thank you!

Peter Mead and Hannah Close
I saw you mention on the findagrave of Peter Mead born 1755 and wife Hannah Close that he was a Rev War soldier and I was wondering if you know whether his son Peter Mead was the one buried in Huron County Ohio. This Peter Mead 's stone says born in Greenwich Fairfield county CT 1781 and died in 1854. He is buried in Fitchville, Huron County Ohio. Would this be the same Peter mead born 25 Dec 1780 in Fairfield CT , son of Peter and Hannah , listed in the Connecticut Town Records pre 1870, Barbour Collection ? or is this Peter Mead born 25 Dec 1870 be from a different Mead?
Any help with this would be appreciated. I have been noticing that Peter Mead born in the 1780's had a son William Mead but have never been able to find which Mead went to Westchester county NY and had a William Mead born 5 Mar 1811. This is my husband's William Mead and he shows up in Indiana in 1840. Was wondering if you had information on these families. Thank you.

I think all you need to do is to remove the two first photos for Lieut. Solomon Close, Sr. Someone else already has posted those photos where they belong.

Many thanks!
