** Do not copy my picture to another memorial on Find A Grave. Ask for me to copy them. **|
PLEASE use the "EDIT" tab on the Memorial for any additions, corrections or transfers, etc.
On ancestry.com they have "U.S., Burial Registers, Military Posts and National Cemeteries, 1862-1960", don't trust the index, LOOK at the IMAGE! The last column says what happen to the body.
That index should be named "What happen to those who died at the Wood VA hospital"
Request for Family Links / Transfers !! Use EDIT tab on memorial !!
I have been getting a number of weird requests in the last few months.
1. I double check all requests.
My checks many times add family links to the memorials.
2. If you tell me they are your relatives. I must assume they are my relatives too. I have the better claim. Tell me how your related!
Been doing genealogy since 2000. Been photographing tombstones since 2002.
If you take a picture of a marker you should check the plot for other members of that family. Normally all members of a plot are family members even it they may have different surnames
To me the plot is more important then the one grave. If you find more family in the plot and want credit for them tell me and I will add the memorials and request pictures.
If I take a marker I will always check the area for more members of the family or take the others in the plot.
If you want a high-resolution image I keep the photo about a month or so. Or if local I can get them again.
NOTE: I do not have any copyright issues with photos I take. I do this work as a free service, you are not required to give my name or any acknowledgement.
But ** Do not copy my picture to another memorial on Find A Grave. Ask for me to copy them. **

|Mieke Hawner||Re: memorial Procula Hawner|
Thank you for taking the time to take a photo of Sister Procula Hawner's gravestone. Her real name is Barbara Hawner. With much appreciation.
My father swerved in same National Guard Unit as Lawrence and in order to properly honor Lawrence's service it should be noted: Co "G", 32nd Infantry Division (Red Arrow) 127 Infantry - WWII. This is very historic unit which was called up 10-20-1940. Thank you.

|Robert Martin||RE: Neal S. Chojnacki|
Are you related to Neal?
I am trying to locate his son Steven who was born in Milwaukee I think in 1966.
I would appreciate hearing and communicating with anyone that knew Neal or especially a relative.

Thank you for trying. Mary's parent's were Charles Morton Lipscomb and Katherine Palmer. She died young, perhaps in childbirth. My great grandfather Earl William Moon was her son.
