Bio Photo My beautiful daughter Megan Elaine Brookover

San Diego has some of the best Find a Grave contributors who are doing an amazing job of documenting our local cemeteries. If you need a grave photo there is no shortage photo volunteers. If you are looking for an obituary, cemetery information or advice we have volunteers happy to help you.
If you are new to Find a Grave and want to start contributing in the San Diego area please read the FAQs or reach out to someone with your questions.

Please always do a search before creating a new memorial

Links, Corrections and additional information
Please use the edit tab and I will be happy to make corrections, add links and additional information. Do not leave information you want added on this page.

Note: Abstracted lists (such as census, death index, etc.) should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio.
Copy-and-paste census, military and other data is not a "bio"." "Please don't send these types of edits because they will not be added.

Transfers
This is Find-a-Grave, we find graves, so please, if the memorial doesn't have a grave photo, request one prior to asking for a transfer.
I'm pretty liberal when it comes to transfers, however too many times I have transferred and nothing is added or changed. So if you want a transfer, please:
1. Post any family photos (if you have them)
2. Provide me with family links and biographical information you wish to add to the memorial.
3. Tell me your exact relationship

I will not make a transfer if you create excessive memorials with unknown burial locations.

Please be a Find a Grave contributor, not just a collector of someone else's work

✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

RE: Anson Fiske Cornell, #101290335
Sorry to bug you again, but the marriage year you added for Anson and Nellie needs to be corrected in the bio section. The correct date is 16 June 1874.

RE: Ruby Jewell Cornell
Here are my sources for my edit:

1) Death Notice of Mrs. Ruby Jewell Cornell, published 15 June 1922 in The Los Angeles Times, Page 24.

2) Newspaper article re her death in The Petaluma Argus-Courier, 20 June 1922, Page 5.

3) Ruby is listed with her parents, Jessie and Mary (Ridley) Jewell in 1870 US Census, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California.

4) Although I was unable to locate Ruby's family in 1860, her sisters (mentioned in both her death notices), Abigail Jewell Frasier and Mattie Jewell Perry, are listed with Jessie and Mary Jewell in 1850 US Census, Starksboro, Addison County, Vermont.

I appreciate that you ask for sources. The edit function of Findagrave.com does not allow that option. Let me know if you need further information.

Memorial# 106443188
Henry Clay Beckley served as a private and sergeant in the 129th Regiment, Indiana Volunteer Infantry, Company F, during the Civil War. Unfortunately, his original grave marker has been replaced by one which doesn't list his service. He married Marguerite Elizabeth Main on 27 Dec 1868, at Deerfield, Mecosta Co., Michigan.

George D. Latham & Ruth E. Latham
I am a petroleum landman in Tulsa, Oklahoma and I'm searching for heirs of George D. Latham and Ruth E. Latham who you posted a photo and info on the site here. Are you related to them?

Also, I clicked on the link to your daughter - I am so sorry to read of your family's loss of such a young one.

FAG # 51216452 Thomas Russell Civil War Veteran
Thomas Russell was born in Hillsboro, New Hampshire in 1843, and served in the 4th Vermont Infantry during the Civil War.
May I use the monument photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Nobody knows
RE: D. Eric Adams
I looked through my outstanding edit list for this name and couldn't locate it. Maybe you have already denied it. Would you tell me which memorial it was regarding? Thank you.
