|The entries I have made so far are family or family related. If you find an error, please let me know. Also, if you have additional data, I'd appreciate that so that it can be added.|
I am a retired teacher who enjoys traveling, volunteering, and researching genealogy. Cemeteries draw me to them. Having a picnic with ancestors and their families is a treat, especially in old, old cemeteries.
As I find family surnames that might be kin, I have started to add them if I have a bit of information.

|RickC||Edna Capehart photo request|
I'm not sure whether you have been advised this yet or not, but I attempted to fulfill your photo request the other day for Edna Capehart in Carleton Church Cemetery in Meigs County, Ohio (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=99324154&CRid=40193&). I was unable to find the marker. Upon checking further I did find that in the other Carleton Cemetery in Meigs County (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=118956027&CRid=2516110&) Edna and her husband Abne and two other Capeharts are listed as being buried in this cemetery. There is a photo of the marker that is hard to read, but apparently shows all four names on the same marker. It appears that the entry for Edna was made in correctly in Carleton Church and she is actually buried in Carleton where the marker was located by the person that created those memorials. Wanted to share this info in case you had not been advised. Thanks Rick

|April Oppegard House||Leila Etna Bennett|
I am connected to Leila (or her parents or grandparents) by DNA and am wondering if she might be my Dad's paternal grandmother.
My dad's father was adopted, I believe as an infant. Leila would have been in her thirties. Do you know if she gave up a son to a couple in Iowa by the name of Burrell?
Or do you know who I might be able to ask for more information?
Thanks so much!
Likely your cousin,

Thank you so very much! What you do really helps those of us hundreds of miles away, and I really appreciate your time & work! Thank you for the information! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Hi Kathryn! Can you tell me more about Willam Francis, Find A Grave Memorial# 14067729? I am unable to find my FIL's great-great uncle, and I am wondering if this might be his final resting place. Thank you in advance for your help!!

Thank you so much.
Im one of those great grand children :)...so hello cousin.
I will add this into my research and hopefully get more information from my aunt (she is currently looking into her stuff and sending me pictures as well). If you have any duplicates would love them as well.
|Shannon Holifield||Roberts question|
I read your research regarding the parents of William Edwards Robers (1870-1946) You put his father down as Brown Cody Roberts. I went and read all the work you had done there. The 1880 Census does list a William but it is A and not E Roberts. Is there any other reason you are basing the connection?
I really appreciate this, The Roberts side has been harder to trace, I think because of the commonality of the name (although Myers isn't much easier).

You're very welcome. I could not believe all the trouble you were having trying to get that photo! I'm glad I could help.

I received Terrell ancestry to way back in the early 1000's from a descendant of Joseph Terrell, but I'd have to ask him about sending it to anyone else. I haven't much about Carolyn though.
You requested photos for Robert, Rosa, Marion, Donna, and Robert. My sister and I were able to find them and Alice, Laura and Roy. As I uploaded photos I found that you have created a duplicate for Rosa/Robert, spelling the last name Terrel, while the other Rosa/Robert is Terrell. If you do a search for Terrel, you can see all of them. The Terrell ones have some additional information. I hope this helps you in your search. Good luck!

Kathryn, there is a duplicate memorial for Timothy at #68032151. This person has their messages disabled so I couldn't contact them to let them know about your memorial.
However, Skip has a link to Timothy's second wife, Mary Ann (Cloud) High Terrell (1838-1913). This is memorial #40306857 and contains extensive information on Mary Ann.
