Hi all. I've had an interest in family history since I was very young. Following my grandfather's death in 1994, my aunt gave me some of his old records, including a baptismal certificate that was written in Polish. It was then that I began doing some serious research into my Borowski, Schorer, De Lille, and Day family lines. I feel very strongly about remembering and paying tribute to those who have gone before.|
Please take a moment to visit my unforgettable mother:
Marie Constance De Lille Burke
My beloved brother:
Richard Michael "Rick" Burke
Henry De Lille
Elise "Elsie" Day De Lille
John Anthony Borowski
Mildred Mary Schorer Borowski Bowen,
A sincere thank you goes out to all the kind souls who leave flowers and messages on the memorials I've posted here, and also to the many wonderful people who are so willing to voluntarily post photos of my loved ones' headstones. It truly means more than I could ever say.

That would be pretty neat. It is pretty sad they have no marker, even a temporary one. I am on poverty level income from Soc Sec so that is something I would not be able to help with myself. At least they got buried in a pretty good place and it is understandable they had no markers since the families probably lost everything in the flood and it may have been a burden on them just to buy them a grave. The cemetery may have given them a deal on that too though since it was under such tragic circumstances.

I did read your mom's bio. Well done, sir! Thought I'd drop a hint I've used. Add a line of ~~~~~~~~ to the end of the text. You can force the display area to widen so all the text isn't a very long column. See my dad's Memorial at 60189638.

I sent you an edit request for the memorial you created for William Lewis Drumheller, Jr. #45580559. The photo attached to this is actually for his father #24537133. Since you did not create both memorials I felt it easier to just edit the names and link the correct wives. Per the cemetery records, that are online @ http://www.wallawalla.wa.govern.com/cmquery.php?m=p ... you can verify the information there. I have submitted edit requests to the other contributor as well. I only found this information as I was creating a memorial for Kirk Drumheller, your William's brother.

Where did you locate the information and photo for Jack Tier in Shawnee Center Cemetery.
Do you have a family connection? He was my mother's first husband. I knew date of death because we found his foot locker and flight book (the take off for his last flight had been recorded in it) when I cleaned out my parent's house.

I am Walter (Buddy's) grand daughter. Just wondering if you have any more information on him or his siblings, Helen and Ethel.
It was great to see the picture of him. I had seen the one with his squadron, but never the one of him in high school.
My father is Walter Raymond Denton, Jr.
Thank you for this contribution. I'm curious to know how/if you are related.

Thank you every so much! I does help tremendously. I requested an edit to link him to his parents :-)
|Jean Quentmeyer||George L Strasser|
I noticed that you posted a picture of a George L Strasser who was killed in WWII. I am wondering where you got that picture and if you have a family connection. I am looking for a George L Strasser, son of George E Strasser and Ruby Meriam Kimball Strasser. Might this be the person I am looking for?
Thank you for any information you can provide to me.
|Linda J. Morris||Katheryn Vandervort|
Hello Mr. Burke. I think something got tangled up here.
Katheryn was the third wife of Loren John Dittemore Dec 1862 - 17 June 1946.
Their son was John Halstead Dittemore b. 1916.
His fathers marriages were to
1-Hattie Waldrip 1 January 1884
2--Edith Fay 13 November 1898
3-Kathryn Vandervort 1909
I have seen all three marriage cert.
Hattie, mother of Lulu Dittemore 14 Oct 1884
Eva mother of Eva Ropche 22 February 1901
Kathryn mother of John Halstead 8 Aug 1914

Do you know if you photographed the marker at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum and Crematory or River View Cemetery ? Thanks for all you do.
