Long interested in cemeteries & ghost stories, this sight I really love! I love the fact that I can have "forever" obituaries for my loved ones and friends and that I can also assist those who are interested in tracing their family trees! I have a particular interest in Native American genealogy and cemeteries.|

This memorial mentions that she married James H. Henderson. I found his death certificate and it indicates that he was to be buried Mar 2, 1936 in Oak Springs Cemetery. Would she have been buried beside her husband seeing as he died first?

Did you know that there is another memorial for this individual. I think it was posted later by possibly his daughter, with more details. I also contacted the other contributor.
|Melinda Cash||Work on Lone Mountain|
Hi, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you have done on Lone Mountain. I just recently finished adding all the cards the cemetery office had on file. Now I am going back and working off of the public health records as there are many deaths that they don't have cards for. I'm working in the 1920's right now. Also, through my fund raising I just placed an order for the first 16 headstones for people who have nothing. I always appreciate the hard work you have done as you came years a head of me. Take care, Melinda
|Diane Graham||John McMillan|
Do you have any information as to who John McMillan's parents were. I am working on Ancestry and have found a John McMillan and want to make sure he is the correct person. I certainly hope that he is. Thank you for any information you can give me.
|Patsy LaPointe||Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery, Pine Ridge, SD|
Would you let me know where you got a listing of people buried at this cemetery. We have tried to get one from the Episcopal Church, but have been unsuccessful. Thank you for any information you can give me.
|Connell O'Donovan||Memorial #16154232|
I just posted the 1856 death record for Sarah Magers Bonar. She did indeed that year, not 1836, as you posit in your comments. Connell
|Sharon Mc||Edward Clark|
Your absolutely correct, it should be Edward. I am correcting it, as I had another photo closeup I had and it confirmed it was Edward. Thank you so much for noticing this and taking the time to let me know.
Absolutely no worries! I, too, have and have had updates/changes that I was slow to get to -- I get caught up doing something else and forget... Doesn't matter the timing, just that eventually it all gets done, no?

I got your message about a photo of J.W. in uniform. Let me see if I can contact his widow to see if she would share it with me. Dee would be the only one that I could think of that might have one. As a young girl of 16, I attended his funeral, and remember how we had to wait for his body to return to the States. Such a sad time for our community. You've made an amazing memorial for him, and the photos you just added are incredible. Thank You for that, and all of your contributions. "Each Day Counts", Loretta

She is in Mt. Zion Cemetery Wheeling, Ohio County. You might care to move her memorial to that cemetery, it's easy to edit location. Then there is a duplicate made after yours that can be requested to delete.
