Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Kenton, Ohio, but have lived in other states as well. I have raised my own family in Kenton, but love the mountain west. My family has vacationed in Yellowstone National Park for many years. I have two children, a daughter, Anne, who lives in Utah and a son, Robert, who lives in the state of Washington. I am a graduate of Ohio State University and also attended Miami University (Ohio), and University of Colorado. My interests are the outdoors, genealogy, and the Civil War.

RE: William Hayter of Oak Grove
I did record these records from a cemetery book. I do not have that book now.

Thanks a lot for the time and effort. This, I think rounds out this family. Nice to have it done.

Thank you so much for taking these tombstone pictures and putting them on Find A Grave. You are greatly appreciated for doing this for all of us that live too far away to do ourselves.

Maud Wood
When taking your picture of Maud Wood I found graves of William Wood 1870-1955 and next to him Oma Wood 1895 - 1963. If you would like these, please let me know. Barbara

RE: Gallagher
Hello and thank you for the information.

I've passed it onto my brother who sees the Lane End Gallaghers from time to time. (Lane End being where the local Catholic church is)

Trying to trace any records in Ireland is a bugger I know!
Didn't help when The IRA burnt the records and then the English in a paddy (That was not deliberate) destroyed the rest.

My family know/knew a few Gallaghers through St John's Catholic Church in Normanton but have never heard of your family name.

Is there a connection between your families?

Sorry, just my brother's curiosity as he sees Dr & Mrs Gallagher at church frequently and wondered.

I went ahead and transferred those memorials to you so you can add all the things you want to add. Have a blessed day and a wonderful weekend!
