Linda: Yes, please add the pay receipt, but remember that he was in the 7th Battalion MS Infantry and not the 7th [Regiment] MS Infantry. Thanks!

RE: Annie Hodges
Hi Linda,

Nancy Lynn gave me the Hodges family bible that belonged to Henry Kelley Hodges and Anne Chase Greenleaf, which is how their names were spelled in it. Thought I would change her name on FindaGrave and if there were any questions I would "quote" the bible.

Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear about Bud and Leewynn's house, didn't see Leewynn when we were on the coast last week, but we did visit with Bud.

Keep in touch,

RE: Wm L Berry
Linda, thank you many times over for all you have done for findagrave. I just happened to find out about Isabel Swilley Berry by contacting her son, Colon Edward Berry who is 84, sharp as a tack, and is living in Lumberton, MS. He gave me the correct information. He admitted that he had heard of another wife for Wm L Berry prior to Isabel, but did not have any information on her nor could he confirm that such a marriage even took place. That could have been Daisy. The children of Wm L Berry are from the union with Isabel. They are James Howard Berry, Sr; William Larry Berry (both deceased); and Colon Berry. He said that there was an infant son buried there next to his mother but a marker was never erected. His name was Willie Steve. He was just about a month old and his mother died about a month after the baby.

RE: Matthew Fairley #92200334
It's been awhile since I first sent you the information, I am not sure where I got it, I will have to go back to my records to see if I can find it.

Matthew Fairley #92200334
Hi Linda
Researching there is a small article says Matthew is buried in Old Homestead Cemetery which is now Fairley- Herrington Cemetery. His baby daughter it's said was buried there first. You may want to Check her memorial and then the cemeteries information. Let me know what you think.
