Please do not copy and post personal photographs of my family members to other websites such as ancestry.com without my permission. I do not have a problem with reusing my tombstone photos for your personal use, but credit would be a good idea as they are my photos. Also note that I did not take all of the photos on my memorials and can't give permission for the ones I didn't take to be reused.

My husband and I started trying to trace our roots back to Europe about 30 years ago. We were fortunate that several of our ancestors kept some records and created family books which were the start of our adventures. We were surprised to learn that both of our families had branches in this country since the 1700's. Most of the entries I've made have some connection to these families, although remote at times (cousins many times removed). A few are just made from photos taken as we walked a cemetery looking for our family members. I am proud to have become a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and am currently working on my third ancestral application in my Spicer line.

I do not intentionally link to burial unknowns for purposes of creating family trees. Please do not request such links. I will delete them if found.

Jamerson family
re: your listing on Martha Jean Perrine Jamerson, wife of John W.
I'm quite sure her surname was PRINE, not Perrine. I have her ancestors back several generations, the birthdate is identical, the area she lived in is identical, and in an article on her parent's 60th wedding anniversary in 1981 she is listed as deceased. She also had a son, Charles, who helped organize the reception for his grandparents. I wasn't aware of a daughter, since she died in childhood, might have been hard to find.
Do you have any documentation that her name was Perrine?
Your thoughts and assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Jerry E. Mericle

PAMELA Miller
Roscoe's first wife
Roscoe was first married to Laura (some say Lura)
Gladys Miller, maybe in 1929.They had a child named Pearl Martha Helen . Laura and Roscoe divorced around 1930 or so. (because they found out they were cousins} Roscoe then married Gladys Croslin.Gladys had a daughter before she married Roscoe and her nickname was Cricket. I think Cricket is still alive.

Doris Roberts
hi, thank you for the message about Doris blurton Roberts. She is a relative of mine, so I do want to keep the first memorial that I made. I added the information and obituary that you provided. Since "Roberts" was added to her headstone with her first husband, I suspect that she is buried with him. I'm not local, so can't easily check. Cheers, Cathy

RE: Temperance Rebecca Chaney Gray
In her obituary, it states she died at her son's home in Peck, Idaho. I can add it to this memorial.

Tiernan photo order
Photo order changed.

Many people have complained in the Find A Grave Forums about the reversed photo order. In the new system, all the photos remain, but the first one is now called the 'cover photo' and is the one shown in the memorial header. The others are available below in a smaller format (but click on them to get a larger display)

The new system is still in Beta mode (which they are now calling 'Preview'. There have been and will continue to be many changes during the next several weeks.
