RE: Elizabeth Hazeltine Sutton Beasley
Hello, thanks for the message!

This is not a mistake. According to the office at Fairmount Cemetery, Elizabeth Beasley is listed as sharing a stone with Edward Purcell. This is considered her monument as well, even though her name isn't engraved on it. If you click on the photo, you can see I included this in the caption of the photo.

I wish I had more information to give you. Fairmount's office is incredibly busy and they are sensitive to how much Find A Grave volunteers ask of them, so if you need more information on the grave location and details, you'd probably get more info if you called them as a relative of Elizabeth. They only give us location details and we always ask them if the grave is marked or not, in this case they said yes--but with Edward's stone. This is not uncommon, actually, at Fairmount. If the grave is simply unmarked they will tell us whose grave is nearby to look for, and we will photograph the unmarked space. Sorry I don't have more answers, but I can say this monument marks Elizabeth Beasley's grave according to office records.

Kind Regards,
