HI, I have been researching my Genealogy since July of 2000. I really enjoy visting Cemeteries and takeing pictures. Headstones are so awesome, they come in all different shape, sizes, Colors, and the engravings express how someone was feeling at the time this person died. I believe you can some what see what kind of a person was by their headstone. And sometime a headstone is all that is left on this earth. I live in Allegan, Michigan |

|Dianne Williams||Israel Hibbs 1837-1913|
I have two possible women as mother to Israel Hibbs: 1) J. M. Race, possibly born in England, may have given birth to Israel on board ship coming to New York, therefore his birth is registered as New York, U.S.A. 2) Mary Ellis, born England, married to John Hibbs 1819 in Dorset, England.
The information I have shows that John married a second wife J.M. Race in 1830s who is mother to the last two children Selena and Israel. However, then we have Israel married to Jane E. Race.
I am just wondering if anyone has any primary source documents that name Israel's mother ie birth record, etc.
Either way John Hibbs Israel's father is widowed by the 1840 census.

You've got the cart before the horse.
Should be William Tracy # 16819966, which makes it a duplicate.

If the Tracys and Fineharts aren't related - it appears they were neighbors, and when Mr. Tracy died, Mrs. Tracy moved in with Mrs. Finehart??

Four spaces in lot 34 of section B were purchased Dec 9, 1924, a few days after Mr. Tracy's death. Only three spaces are known to have been used. Mrs. John E Tracy is the owner, and she is believed to be the Addie Tracy buried in the plot.
The following is transcribed from funeral home records, about Mr. & Mrs. Tracy:
Mrs. Tracy was a resident of 513 Hillcrest when she died at her home.
Her husband was John
Her parents were Eli Crist and mary Sanderson
Informant of record was Mrs. Anna D Hull of Clarendon Hills, IL

Her grave is not marked.
Cemetery book has her name as Feinhar - which could be a typo.
Funeral record has her name as Finehart.
Lot owner was Mrs. John E Tracy. Buried there are John Edward Tracey, Addie Tracy, and Jennie [Feinhar] Finehart.
Mrs. Finehart was a ten year resident of the Orlando area when she died at her home, 513 E Hillcrest, of a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was a widow.
Informant of record was Jos. J. Gannon of St. Clair, MI

I like to read the old newspapers at the Library of Congress website and today, I ran across the wedding announcement for Millard Jewell and Ellen Rolison in the Belding Banner (Belding, MI) of 11/29/1916. I believe this might be the Ella Wilson in the memorial. I am attaching a link. I thought you might like to see the article.
