Hello Jeneanne! I was just surfing through and wanted to say, you've done a lovely job documenting your family on here. Do you have an ancestry site as well? I'd love to talk with you further, if you want to email me. Respectfully, Kathy McPhaul Cather

You're very welcome. I know it's not exactly what you were looking for, however maybe it'll help complete the puzzle.
|Fluttergirl||Thomas F. McKinney|
Hi, Jeneanne. Thomas F. McKinney has two gravestones. One is his original stone and the other was donated by The Daughters of the Republic of Texas. The original stone is very hard to read. I tried to translate it while I was out there this morning, but the light wasn't quite right. I'll be back out there again soon and I'll try to get a better look at it. I'm also playing around with the picture in Photoshop to try and translate it.
I claimed this photo request last night without knowing anything about Mr. McKinney. It turns out that the state park that is closest to me was named for him. McKinney Falls State Park. My family loves to go out there. It's our favourite place to hike. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to learn more about the man himself.
All my best,
