I do not have any information on individuals represented by many of the pictures I post. If anyone has additional information that they wish me to include on a posting, I would gladly do this if you would request the addition using the edit function. I do not post obits to my memorials but I extract from them and post information to the memorial.

If you want to use my pictures for personal purposes, feel free to do so. I try to post the information on the marker and not the complete grave site or surrondings.

For requests for additions or corrections to a memorial, please send request from the memorial so that I have links to it in the email. Also requests for transfers should be sent from the memorial. I DO NOT ANSWER REQUESTS THAT ARE POSTED AS MESSAGES ON MY PROFILE. Thank you very much.

Dear Arthur,

The above F.A.G. site is of my husband, Donald Damren. Not knowing this was here, I set up a site for him (177835110). Obviously, I have more detailed information and wish we could somehow merge the two. Or, if you would, could you delete your original site.

Thanks for your kind attention.

Sincerely, Elaine Damren

Louise R. Johnson Memorial# 27721091
I am tracing a relative by the name of Louise R. Johnson (nee Rollins) and I believe that this is her. She was born and died in Enterprise, Alabama and it leads me to believe that this is her. Since her mother and father are buried in Mississippi and it seems that were born there, this link may be incorrect.

Thank you,
Mitchell McCalvin

Mr. Fortenberry. I noticed you provided the information for my Great Uncle Robert D. Carter. The last census record we saw for his mother, she was living with him in Louisville, Barbour County, AL. I was wondering if she perhaps might be buried in the same cemetery. Her name is Elizabeth Carter born between 1818 & 1821 in South Carolina, married Thomas Carter in 1836 Crawford County, GA. They moved to Barbour County between 1850-1860. Of course we can't find hide nor hair of Thomas either. Any help would be appreciated.

Claude Gates
Dear Arthur,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History of the 89th Division, Claude Gates was a member of this unit. In fact, this resource shows he was slightly wounded on 11/4/1918.

I see from your post (Find A Grave Memorial# 23940686) that there is not detailed information regarding his unit. Might you know whether this Claude Gates served in the above mentioned unit?

I'm trying to find as many graves of those who served with my grandfather. So far I've found about 200 of the 350 people on my list.

Thank you!
