Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am searching for the parents of Susan Ellen Kirby who married first, Preston "Press" Randolph, and second, Elbert G. Parrish. Her death certificate states "Mak Kirby" as her father. Her mother's name was Perdema. Perdema married a James White in 1862 and as of 1868 she was still using the name Perdema White.

Susan Ellen Kirby was born Dec 25, 1872/1874 in Tennessee and died Dec 9, 1944 in Tennessee. According to her death certificate, she is buried at Rose [Chapel] Cemetery, which is on Wildcat Cove Road, in White County, Tennessee. Some Randolph relatives have told me that her first husband, Preston, is also buried there, as is her daughter, Ethel Randolph Meadows. I would dearly love to have ANY information about her. All the census records I have for her show her living in White County, Tennessee. Her nickname was "Suk".

April 28, 2009 - I just visited Rose Cemetery last week. There are no markers for Susan Ellen, Preston or Ethel. I do have Susan Ellen and Ethel's death certificates. Ethel's states she is buried at Rose Cemetery. Susan Ellen's says she is buried at 'Wildcat', which I'm fairly certain is Rose Cemetery as it is on WILDCAT road.

My cousins and I went to the Red Hill Cemetery to find the graves of John and Joannah but did not find. Do you have any idea of the exact placement of their graves? I would like to at least put some marker at their graves. Please let me know if you have any info that would help. They are my ggg grandparents.
