I went by there about a week ago. It is located in a small subdivision. It has a fence on the front side and the side. You can get to it on the back side. It's not to grown over but it will get there. I'm going to apply for two CSA markers and hope they will be issued. Mike

Is there public access to the cemetery. Or do I need to speak with someone about entering? There are two confederate soldiers that I'd like to apply for a headstone to place.

Thank you Bonnie. Hubby and I are making a trip home in May an will be stopping there to visit my grandparents graves so hopefully I will be able to find some information.

Possibly Montgomery Memorial Gardens or Kanawha Valley Cemetery. But since Montgomery is older I would think they would be there.
Thank you for your reply.

Hello, I am researching Helen Young who married James T. Adkins in 1952 and the above were her parents. However, on Find A Grave, only one child is listed. Is this because she is the only one who has passed? I know Helen remarried but have yet to find anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated. When I make a trip home again will be stopping at the cemetery as I have grandparents buried there. Any help with Helen would be greatly appreciated.
Could you give me more specific information about how to find Thorpe Cemetery? I would like to visit it but I am having trouble finding it.

Do you know if the access to this cemetery is via McVey Trail? Thanks
