RE: Lena Russell

On the one hand, it's good someone cleaned it up, but on the other hand, I can't believe they were so careless as to break some of the stones. It would almost have been better to have left it alone.

I really appreciate the time you took to clean up and to find Lena. At least now, it is confirmed where she was laid to rest and that she has a stone. Our family appreciates it.

Have a good day.

Lena Russell
I wanted to thank you for the photo you found of Lena.

I made a trip to Missouri 2 summers ago and found what I believed was the cemetery but could not find her marker. There was a portion that was overgrown.

Was I hat the correct place? It's a tiny cemetery along the road.

I am very interested in how you found it because I assumed it was unmarked.

Thanks so much

RE: Bismark Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemeteries
Below is a link of persons buried in the Odd Fellow cemetery, it gives not only dates, but also grave marker photos in many cases. There is also a link to all cemeteries in the St. Francois area, which is also attached.

We could possible escalate these corrections directly to Find A Grave, using these article links as evidence.

Let me know if these links don't come through for you!

Bismark Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemeteries
Aren't the Bismarck Masonic Cemetery and the Bismarck Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) Cemeteries two different and separate cemeteries? Find a Grave has them listed separate.

I have found family obits that you have kindly posted to memorials that list individuals to be buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, but whose memorials are actually listed in the Bismarck Masonic Cemetery.

The original contributor has her messages disabled.

I'm trying to link them to other immediate family members, thanks for any information that you can give me, thanks.

Memorials in question are for Arthur Lloyd Blackwell (1875-1879, memorial # 36198271), and his wife, Myrtle Grace (Crocker) Blackwell (1909-1995, #36198484)...
